You four are all selfish and and at your core, hedonistic. I couldn't think less of the lot of you.

You want to believe in love. You at least pretend to be empathetic to the problems of those around you.

You are making baseless assumptions about people based on their choice of film. What an arbitrary fucking existence you live. Autism at its fucking finest. Fucking cunt. You seem like you probably hate women and fantasize about time travel to escape your boring miserable existence how do you feel about that?

Only saw the lives of others from that list but have seen it thrice. Good one.

You're not serious right?

Odd.

Good movies.

83 Bad Boys with Penn or Bay's? This is a factor I need to know to judge you properly.

>The Priest and me, we lived by the same principles. It was only faith divided us. He gave me this, you know? That was the finest beating I ever took. My face was pulp. My guts was pierced, my ribs was all mashed up. And when he came to finish me, I couldn't look him in the eye. He spared me, because he wanted me to live in shame. This was a great man. A great man. So I out out the eye that looked away, I sent it to him wrapped in blue paper. I would've cut them both out if I could have fought him blind. And I rose back up again with a full heart... and buried him in his own blood. He was the only man I ever killed worth remembering.

How based can one character truly be? And his smile is just something to behold.

Remake is the best ED.

You have 0 taste.

How is it not? ED 1 is great, and I know I'm the retard here, but the remake does everything the original did only better, without it's schlockiness. It also has a few homage scenes that were implemented quite well.

>Here's the thing. I don't give a tuppenny fuck about your moral conundrum, you meat-headed shit-sack. That's more or less the thing. And I want you to go out there... You, nobody else. None of your little minions. I want you to go out there. And I want you to punish the person who's responsible for murdering this poor little rabbit. Is that understood?

The tears in his eyes sells that scene and then he proceeds to laugh it off.

The "schlockiness" doesnt' make TED or ED2 bad at all, it makes them so much more better than remake.

>one of the medium's best regardless.
I suspect you haven't seen enugh kino to make such a bold assertion

Spot on, great scene indeed.

Never said it was, I meant it as a flaw the remake had. It became a little too serious without some schlocky moments but it was a good remake that actually respected the original film.

Both TED and ED2 are still miles better films than the fanservice film.

1. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Halows Part 1
3. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

these are mine nice picks tho senpai

Bay's. DESU i didn't even know there was an 83 version.
It was just ALWAYS on tv when i was growing up. Strong enough plot, some comedy, eye candy, action... a damn good cop movie.
Not as objectively good as Lethal Weapon or Die Hard. But I can rewatch Bad Boys more often with more enjoyment

Pleb

Allow me to interject here but original Evil Dead doesn't have any schlock it's 2 that changes it up and retells the story but with humor and lack of side characters.

Even Ash vs Evil Dead season one knew it was the superior movie by having his friends in the flashback instead of focusing on 2's humor while respecting it's legacy with humor undertones post 2.

Evil Dead franchise strikes a fine balance with the horror and humor while not going full retard like Nightmare on Elm Street did with later incarnations. Freddy's Nightmares is definitely an underrated tv show and has some genuinely creepy episodes.

...

>ED doesn't have any schlock.
Did we watch the same film? It's not "INTENTIONAL" as in, purposefully made schlocky - but it is there because of the inexperience of everyone involved. Then Raimi would go and master the accidentally schlock in TED2 with making it intentional and better.

...

Watch the 83 movie because it's completely different about young men turning to crime. Nobody ever talks about the impact of that movie after watching it.

Casino
Batman Returns
Caligula

I didn't see Evil Dead that way I suppose idk, as an early film it just does everything right in introducing his style so I probably have a bias considering I like Raimi so much.

Raimi has had "schlock" in his films for his entire career. That's part of his style. Even in the Spiderman films, and especially Drag Me To Hell. Very funny director because of this and one of the reasons I love him.

Drag Me To Hell was my favorite movie I watched last Halloween.
