Good thing it'll be a miniseries.

Wait, I know the answer to this... what was it.

Book of the New Sun. I don't think it would even adapt well to a series.

Blood Meridian
Book Of The New Sun

...

perdido street station, but I'd like to see them try. if only to see how they'd make the romance between isaac and lin work.

oh god jesus christ I'm not ready for this

Dune

I'll watch it just for the imagery alone.

>The Shrike

Oooo baby.

sci-fi tv movie monster budget
shrike

no thanks
or are they doing it like The Expanse?

I could see Terry Gilliam do a good job with this (provided he's on his game)

Its going to be shit

this was so fantastic if i ever hear someone's gonna try to make a show or movie based on it i'd probably kill myself immediately to avoid the disappointment

Maybe it was I,Robot? hmmm

If anything I, Robot showed you can adapt pretty much anything. Of course real question is whether you'll like what you get at the end.

>Blood Meridian
this is a dumb meme

...

fuck you hollywood. hyperion is not for television. shrike, the freaking parasyte crosses... that just wont work on tv

Except it literally wouldn't

The violence would never be accepted, it's simply too long, no filmmaker could ever capture mccarthy's penchant for beautiful visuals and scenery and the point, most notably, the judge, would be entirely lost in a film

This has got to be put to an end.

10/10 audiobook btw

Still want to see this made into kino

I'd love a "Would androids dream of electric sheep" adaptation, that actually stays true to the story. Unlike Dick's many other works it'v very very filmable.

Dan Simmons is a piece of shit hack

this book was fucking weird
