not really, it's a franchise for fucking 10 year olds, it has no deep underlying themes or interesting mythology. It's literally a basic good vs evil franchise akin to all the other shit Disney have put out. Having less 'shitters' on it made it far less shitty than it is now. There weren't a thousand capeshit and Star Wars threads back then. There was still cunnyfag cancer but objectively it was a much better board where some actual discussion occurred from time to time regarding films targeting an audience over the age of 18.
All Sup Forums boards have always been shit to some degree or another but old Sup Forums was a pretty fun place to browse.
