No they aren't.
Rider is pronounced like Ryder
>raise and raze are pronounced the same but have opposite meanings
They aren't though. There's plenty of fucked up things in English, but your poor pronunciation ain't one of them.
Lots of words are pronounced the same in English. It's really inexpressive and you have to interpolate a lot
Examples:
>mary and merry
>canon and cannon
>effect and affect
>tree an three
>sheep and cheap
0 difference between these
>aluminium and aluminum are pronounced the same
wtf anglos
>hurr durr things taken out of context can be confusing
good banter
>my poor pronounciation
>pronouncing writer and rider as [ɹaJɾə] is bad pronounciation
Only by some US west coast retard
>sheep and cheap
>effect and affect
no
rye durr
hrye turr
Out of all your examples one pair of words is actually pronounced the same: canon and cannon. Don't blame English for your poor pronunciation skills and the inability of people with Swedish as their native tongue to differentiate between cheap and sheep.
>flat and flat are direct opposites
WHAAAT TTHHHHEEEE FUUUUUUCCCKKKK!!!!
i pronounce them the same
all of those examples are correct except for the last two
Moan as much as you like, if they sound the same your pronunciation is poor. Not really very surprising though, as Finnish people seem to have a very tough time with Germanic languages.
Japanese has a lot more homophones. It's annoying, even reading the kanji I still mix them up.
>Out of all your examples one pair of words is actually pronounced the same: canon and cannon
>all of those examples are correct except for the last two
Hmmm...
>if they sound the same ur retarded xDDDDDD
ever heard of the alveolar flap, faggot swede?
No, but I did hear of your mum's pussy flaps.
great joke toothpaste
Redpilling time:
Finns can't tell the difference between d and t -- it just becomes t.
Danes can't tell the difference between t and d -- it just becomes d.
These are not controversial facts.
Accents exist yaknow?
Technically speaking the Swede is right
Wrong. I can hear the difference between t and d.
only first two are correct.
Wrong
all incorrect
>the swede is right
>he doesnt know that some /d/s and /t/s become the alveolar flap [ɾ] in some dialects of english including my own and thinks im some retard who cant differentiate between a voiceless alveolar plosive and a voiced one
You can tell the difference as long as you know the context. Interpolation is not necessary.
swedes should be genocided fuck you sweden i hope you become extinct
Mary and merry are pronounced differently
t. New Englander
No, it's not wrong, as evidenced by this thread.
post your boypucci
Yanks pronounce them the same because a lifetime of heavy aspartate and HFCS intake takes a toll on your ability to enunciate well.
You fucking retard I pronounce writer and rider as [ɹaJɾə]. See the [ɾ] there? That's the alveolar flap. It's not an dental, alveolar or post-alveolar plosive, but rather a flap. [t] and [d] are ___plosives___ (NOT FLAPS). Due to a sound change, the [t] in writer became [ɾ] and the [d] in rider became [ɾ]. I can still hear the difference between "dick" and "tick", and I don't pronounce them both as [ɾJk], but rather as [dJk] and [tJk], with the [d] and [t] aspirated. tl;dr: ding dong youre wrong
And of course the sw*de is a faggot. Get into the oven, fag.
>I pronounce writer and rider as [ɹaJɾə]
That's either a speech impediment or the Finnish accent. I say it's the latter (not pronounced the same as ladder).
post it sissy boy
>Finns can't tell the difference between d and t -- it just becomes t.
Also p and b. That's impossible for the. You'll often see Finns online spell it "propably", for example. I suppose it's endearing in a way.
>you pronouncing a /t/ and a /d/ as the alveolar flap in some words is a speech impediment even though that same sound change is found in some American dialects or it's the Finnish accent even though it that case it would be [raitœ(r)] and [raidœ(r)].
You want a fucking vocaroo or what?
>Weight wait
No, don't embarrass yourself.
Stop spouting bullshit then. I can hear and pronounce both the voiced and unvoiced versions of the labial plosives, alveolar plosives and the velar plosives.
Good heavens, stop sperging out with all that technical jargon that amounts to naught but sophistry and just admit the truth of what I have said.
>rider and writer
only for y*nk accents
>technical jargon

Relax.
Arabs can't do Ps so they usually pronounce them like Bs.
You relax by jumping in front of a train, subhuman.
what chinaman taught you English?
>rider and writer
>only for y*nk accents
What the fuck are you smoking Nigel? We differentiate between the two.
Dude, just relax.
t. finns cant differentiate between voiced and voiceless plosives HURR DURR theyre so dumb HURR DURR
Fuck you. Your """"people"""" becoming extinct is the best thing that will happen in my lifetime. Finally you faggots will pay for your crimes.
don't be shy, post it
How do you distinct words "cum" and "come"?
> inb4 muh context
What if it's just "kingdom ****"?
Technically not, colloquially they are and you know it
this
fuck that swede
i hope he fucking gets raped by abdullahi and then killed
what a cunt
Who the fuck taught you English pronounciation?
most of those are correct
>2/5
>most
Please don't pick on the American. They were trained incorrectly, as a joke.
marry and merry are pronounced the same. cannon and canon. affect and effect. what the fuck are you talking about
>mary and merry
Slight difference
>canon and cannon
Same
>effect and affect
Most pronounce them the same. I don't.
>tree an three
Maybe in Chicago
>sheep and cheap
Lol What?
>affect and effect
No they aren't. If you can't differentiate between an "a" sound and an "e" sound, you weren't taught English properly
Hey, it's you again, you edgy fucktard!
U edgy bruh
>marry and merry are pronounced the same
>cannon and canon
>mary and merry
>Slight difference
>canon and cannon
>Same
What are you nutbars on about
Rider is pronounced ryder
Writer is pronounced righter
>thinks im some retard who cant differentiate between a voiceless alveolar plosive and a voiced one
Evidently you can't. Until you learn to, you're a retard.
>be swedish
>call fors fosh
HAHAHAHAH SWEDES CANT HEAR THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "rs" AND "sh" HAHAHAHA FUCKING BRAINLETS LEARN TO SPEAK AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>SWEDES CALL CARS CASH
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH RETARD RETARD
>call fors fosh
Only in some dialects.
>SWEDES CALL CARS CASH
Nope.
My point is that even if you pronounce "fors" as "fosh", you *should be able* to pronounce it as fors.
And you most certainly shouldn't be so enormously retarded that you think your mongoloid dialect somehow dictates how to pronounce words in English.
You're a retard until you learn the difference between "rs" and "sh".
Try pronouncing them whilst sober.
Edgy

It's not. He's a dumb hayseed.
>i dont speak colloquially
