He was right about Anakin though.
>that pose
How the fuck would he know Anakin would win the podcast race?
>Padawan Kenobi, I'm JEDI.
he rigged it with magic. anakin is a total fraud.
Master Jinn, I'm SENATE
Friendly reminder the only reason the empire exists is cause of this wise blupilled moron
Queen Amidala, I'm Jedi.
Not really. Sheev was still around regardless of Anakin

Uh... you don't get to bring moms.
He didn't fight so good!
>train him, we cannot
>but I wanna
>well okay then
People think TFA is worse than this.
>he's 5 years old? He's way too old to train now
>Luke trains as an adult for like a summer and is able to take on one of the most trained and powerful force users.
Literally everything in the prequels is garbage. All of it doesn't make sense in its own right, or diminishes the OT.
...
How so?
It just shows how fickle the Jedi really are.
The Jedi council we see in the prequels, through what we know from the OT and now the ST, are probably the remnants of what some surviving force user long ago took to be the code.
If Disney had gone with a more shadows of the empire with Luke having rebuilt the Jedi, we would have seen this better.
Whatever school of Jedi is created after the OT, they will never know or return to the construction of the Jedi council in the prequels.
So Yoda no longer following the code of conduit from the prequels makes sense. it is a new Jedi order with different rules to what and how to appropriate the force.
I think his method of training would have resulted in a different Anakin to be honest.
>George Lucas's moral is pro-child slavery
Jesus, how did he get away with this?
Yoda didn't want to train luke because he was too old. Have you even watched these movies?
not to mention a better father figure than obishit
Fucking what? Yoda didn't want to train Luke because Luke was impatient and angry. Nothing about him being too old. Fuck outta here, prequelbabby.
He was just making excuses.
He also said "he's not ready." From my experience toddlers aren't ready for shit. I don't see how can get a 2 year old and say "yeah he's ready to start training." And then see a 19 year old and say "Maybe in a few more years, kiddo."
Seriously, have you seen the movie?
>Much anger in him, like his father.
>Was I any different when you taught me?
>Well, not when you taught me, specifically, because you never really did. I meant, was I any different when I was one of a dozen younglings absentmindedly swinging a deadly weapon in close proximity to other children with barely developed motor skills?
Actually It's Mauls fault for killing him. Sheev forsaw that if Qui Gon lived he would have raised Anakin to be this all powerful force of good that would have wiped out the Sith.
is gungan jim the worst character in cinematic history?
This. It's like actually having a dad instead of being raised by your older brother.
>obi-wan's training of Luke is improvised using available supplies such as a repurposed droid and an old blast shield helmet
>oh no wait that's actually how yoda has trained jedis for 800 years, using that exact equipment
Boy it sure is a good thing Han had all that Jedi Training Equipment in the Millennium Falcon despite not believing that the Force is real.
Lucas should have never made the prequels.
His legacy would have been secured, we could have forgiven the Crystal Skull.
And whatever Disney made as a prequel, we all would have thought, man, Lucas could have done it way better.
Now we know he's actually a hack-fraud
I'm quite sure itwas even moreso because it's difficult to make an adult / elderly teenager forget what he has been taught all his life, since these principles have been condemned in them since their birth. How life is supposed to be like, and that religion (believing in the force) basically altered their entire structure of thinking which is almost impossible to do on an elderly person. It is much easier to do so while they are still learning, thus ~4 years old.
Lucas made a fucking awful planes movie. he produced Howard the Duck. He's been shit ever since ROTJ.
By the way, remember those old hermit robes Ben Kenobi was wearing while living an isolated life on a barren planet? Those are actual genuine Jedi Order regalia which were worn in their huge, opulent temple on the galaxy's most populated planet.
I think the Ewok episode just straight up fried his brains.
>and those dozen other younglings were good friends
>goes into hiding
>doesn't change his name or his clothing
Lucas was always more about technology, similiar to James Cameron. He wrote stuff that he was passionate about, that he liked. But writing itself was never one of his desires.... more something he had to do.
The process of Star Wars did fry his brains and made him demotivated to ever do it again. That's a literal fact he has admitted himself. Star Wars is the reason he became a worse director and writer than before, he just didn't want to anymore. Three years of writing and an awful production on set made him not want to do this ever again. But, he had to. And so he continued.
Lucas himself gave his daughter a job by producing TCW, but it was always about the money ever since TESB. Of course, he loved it because he invested so many emotions into the films. And he probably had to also prove himself that he still had it in himself after being away from movies for ten to twenty years. But he forgot a lot and had the fans and media to blame for his thinking. Too many yes-men.
In the end, Lucas was always a guy who was about technology. He made so many shorts at USC that were literally just soundbits of different machines, and he used Star Wars as an excuse to enhance film technology as well. Not to forget the prequels being shot digital while it was still in its baby shoes.
He's more responsible for most modern filmmakers than people might be able to admit. And what I think is that he should essentially just become a producer and save his legacy.
>ever since ANH
Is more fair, since he has literally all the merchandising money instead of Fox cuz they didn't believe in SW as much as Lucas believed in it.
