Would love some feedback on this one, since it includes my first attempt at vocals. Still feeling pretty weak on my mixing as well, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

======================================== Wow I was not expecting that, love how the sax melts into the rest of the track. Good stuff
This is sick. Some deliciously eclectic sounds, and a really solid drum line. Can't wait for the rest!
Great voice and style, just a bit undermined by your recording equipment. I don't know a ton about vocal recording though, so I'm afraid I can't offer much in advice for that. Keep it up though man
Caleb Reyes
first project in over 4 yrs is out now my bruddahs heres the outro
REC: like the felling in the song keep going your work dude rec also this solid produce cool sound !!!

Being real, we're all mostly here for likes, comments (good or bad), follows and shares. Replies on the board are worthless. Recs are just an excuse for people to appear like they're contributing when they're not.
Just a reminder to not be a leach, and if you are contributing, feel free to call out the others.
OP, you ALWAYS start these threads early to be the first poster. You're last comment was yesterday, then two days before that, then two days before that. What's worse is that your music is vapid garbage, exemplary of a Logan Paul tier attention whore.
Your last comment was 24 days ago. You comment like once a month. You haven't commented in a few days, or liked anything recently. If you're going to leave feedback, why not comment on the tracks? You haven't done that in weeks. It's been days buddy. Recs don't even mean that you listened, you can just click on links and say "rec". It's a bullshit tactic. 15 days since a comment, 4 days since a like. Has literally never commented or liked anything. Fuck you. 4 months since a comment, 2 years since a like. Disappointed man, I see you posting every day. You are the only one doing it right in this thread.
Honestly I started this post just out of curiosity but it's worse than I thought.
I think honestly the vocals could use more energy. It sounds like you're singing a little low in your register, which I used to do a lot before I have much confidence in my voice. The songwriting is decent, but I would say just practice projecting your voice some more.
Andrew Morris
I don't really know enough about music prod to give feedback sorry, here's mine
I know it's not good right now but try and keep things helpful
Logan Stewart
some experimental shit i made, been working on for some time and wanted to release it the other day,. soundcloud.com/b-dos/hue >trap >experimental reccs

>soundcloud.com/phgaba i like that sample in the beginning of your first song i thought it was going to be like some death metal you need something to fill up the mid range you should use distorted guitars
Lincoln Cruz
alright, thanks lad
Robert Baker
it doesn't have to be a guitar or distorted but you need something strumming in the mid range it doesn't have to be complex
Andrew Cox
Just about to finish up this movie, absolutely one of the best things to come out of these threads. Did you do all of this as a one man project?
I make art if any of you nerds want some for song/album covers, pic related
Blake Harris
I'm interested msg me on sc soundcloud.com/dmtryp

Yeap, ha. For context, It took 3 1/2 years and made me feel like I was crazy. Pretty isolating, but I am proud of it, even though it isn't perfect and hasn't really reached many people outside of the little art communities I participate in locally. Thanks man, nobody watches it here so it means a lot.
When you view somebody's profile you can see when they comment or like things. You're doing good, nothing to worry about. There's just a culture here where people spam their shit and reap the benefits of the fewer people that are actually contributing.
You are a genius, a master smith of emotion. I can't even express how happy I am to have found your music...
Christian Scott
>It's been days buddy. Recs don't even mean that you listened, you can just click on links and say "rec". It's a bullshit tactic. Except i actively listen to most of their new stuff and comment whenever I can If I don’t see people post and give feedback whenever I post I usually rec who I usually like. If you want to call people cunts go after acts that post and leave, don’t get butt hurt at people who actually do legit feedback.
Dominic Carter
I just called it as the information available to me indicated. It's been days since you've commented, months since you've liked, and then you post your shit with a bunch of tags as though it counts as feedback when you almost certainly just tagged them as a half assed way to display your pseudo contribution. It's a day to day thing, if you're going to post in a day you should be contributing that day, not just dropping your stuff and leaving and justify it by saying that you've contributed before. We almost all have, but it's easy to get lazy. I'm merely pointing out that it's kind of a problem.
Benjamin Collins
shucks, thank you. the album those first three tracks are on should be out this year, I just have to finish the last two tracks and make an animation for the single, and I'll definitely be here a bunch when it's out.
well, at least i certainly triggered (you), and a few others pulling the same bs. people should know about this issue before they spend their time doling out thoughtful critique for people that are just sponging without reciprocation.
Austin Garcia
at least they're smart enough to post their stuff on Sup Forums
Jayden Rogers
77976012 77975944 not even gonna give you a (You), you don't even deserve a (You)

>waaaaaaaah waaaaaaaah nobody is liking or commenting on (MY) soundcloud so I have to point fingers at other anons Imagine being THIS desperate
Joshua King
I get plenty lol, but I reciprocate. What's got you so riled up, your number get called?
Christopher Powell
>I got plenty No you don't, that's why you made such a desperate post. You're on some "holier than thou" bullshit right now, utterly pathetic. That being said, I did chuckle a bit, so thank you for that.
Hudson Hall
i dont follow anyone on sc and have never left comments
its totally OK to leave comments in the thread, stop being a dick
if someone wants a clean profile, its their decision to make
Thomas Ross
I don't come here too often so I would be interested what your music sounds like. Most of the things posted here sounds kind of generic anyways, so I think it's hard to comment on.
believe what you want, if I wanted to use this as a way to fish for feedback I would've posted a link with it. even the pic was an accident.
id pm you if it were possible, but not for this thread, it was supposed to be an anonymous call out. im certainly not the first person to call attention to this, it really is an issue.
I'm here for people to listen to my music and give me any advice they can to perfect my craft. less concerned about gaining popularity. music is my passion, not trying to be famous.
Hey look, I see where some of your frustration may be coming from, but I don't think it's fair to be calling out posters for not contributing to the community. Leaving feedback in these threads is helpful, but often times people don't want to openly criticize someone else without anonymity, which is the beauty of the board. Obviously you, and some others I'm sure, don't feel this way, but I know I for one use the board as a way to find other artists and music I appreciate and then leave personal feedback with the artist via SC private messages. The "recommending" system may appear like a lazy facade, and I agree it has the potential to be easily manipulated, but it does help people find new artists they haven't had the chance to check out yet.
Give it a listen if you care to. I do lyrics, vocals, art, and editing
Charles Peterson
>soundcloud.com/itsaghostball here's my feedback: I think it sounds like shit and I turned it off in 2 seconds as soon as I heard the faggy auto tune
