Must be a popular past time in Europistan or something.
Reading comments on major news organizations' posts gives me cancer.
I don't acknowledge Celsius as my unit of temperature and neither should you.
Shart in mart Jayqwan
Fuck you, literally nobody uses Fahrenheit to measure temperature besides you.
Don't be so harsh to them. They have a very effective private schools system, but a very shitty public schools.
So the most of their population seems "uneducated" for europeans. But It's not their fault, It's just that their educational system is different from our.
Reading comments on almost any site gives me cancer.
>using a temperature scale based on inaccurate measurements of horse blood temperature
lol
Whatever you say, Ndongo Mabungo
45 is normal for summer why is this a news story
>45
>normal
that is not normal even in spain
>using a length scale based on one ten-millionth of the distance from the equator to the North Pole that you measured wrong anyway
Nah, It is normal in the south part of Spain.
>45 is normal
Maybe in a fucking desert.
>using a length scale based on one ten-millionth of the distance from the equator to the North Pole that you measured wrong anyway to define his length scale with a fancy name

At least celsius is based on something real, water states (0=frozen water, 100=boiling water). What the fuck is fahrenheit based off?
>Fahrenheit proposed his temperature scale in 1724, basing it on two reference points of temperature. In his initial scale (which is not the final Fahrenheit scale), the zero point is determined by placing the thermometer in a mixture of ice, water, and ammonium chloride (salis Armoniaci [6]). This is a frigorific mixture which stabilizes its temperature automatically: that stable temperature was defined as 0 °F (−17.78 °C). The second point, 96 degrees, was approximately the human body's temperature (sanguine hominis sani, the blood of a healthy man).[7]
Literally based around technical limitations of science of 300 years ago
>using the temperature scale of a Polish guy
kekkedy kek
It is evil but imagine if someone sends the wrong temperature scales for some major engineering project and they don't convert or question it
So basically, Fahrenheit was just some guy fucking about with mercury and using mental gymnastics and hacking some other guy to make a new, retarded temperature scale to fix one that wasn't even wrong? Fucking lol, the only people who use it are dumb yanks and wogs, says it all really
You know what they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it
But we use Celsius like every other country in Europe
...
Fahrenheit is older, also maybe someone who measures their weight in fucking ROCKS should stay quiet about this one
Hopefully the search team is on the same page
What does that have to do with this?
>non-country lecturing real countries about their inventions
Cute!
>Putting fucking ROCKS on a scale is now an invention
He has a point, though...
Isn't wog a derogatory term for Italian?
Why blur the profile picture?
I want to see if its a nigger
The meter has already been redefined based on the distance the speed of light in a vacuum (universal constant) takes to cover in a given time (seconds, defined by the a constant number of periods an atom of caesium has, also a universal constant)
But then again, the American imperial system has been defined as multiples of metric units decades ago, so...
>putting a tonne of kike bankers on a rock inbetween France and Germany is now a country :)
Nice one fahrenheit boy
Think so but I've always known it as slang for niBBas

Imagine having used Fahrenheit until a few decades ago with your grandma probably still having a Fahrenheit oven and now bitching on it on a Sup Forums like you've never used that shit.
Couldn't even reply directly to me
Like you can talk about people's grandmas being in the oven you fucking kike

Nice way to say you're shifting goalposts
Farenheit, like the Imperial system, is based mostly on immediate references. Body temperature, for example, is not arbitrary in the least.
In Imperial (foot, pounds, miles, etc) every unit of measurement is based on using parts of your body as references. An inch is the length of your thumb joint to the tip, a foot is an adult's foot, a mile is 1,000 paces, etc. This may be hard to believe but hundreds of years ago standardised measuring tools weren't abundant in supply and just a quick stroll over to Pat's Auto down the block.
Please post more CCS
>Hi I'm Nigel from Birmingham and despite americanisation, it is still spelt colour and humour
>Guten Tag, ich bin Hans aus Köln und meine Freundin wird von syrischen Flüchtlingen gefickt
At least you tried....
There's nothing wrong with noting that your previous measurement was imprecise and took a lot of variables for granted. It sure beats insisting on using a system with half assed units that you need to specify a given context for them to be precise
I'm not talking about metric and imperial though, just temperature
Well I was made to learn your language in school what do you expect? Seems like someone's got to learn it if your kids aren't anymore. Still, it's at least good to know how fucked you all are in your own language, however long it lasts until Chancellor Palpati- AHEM, Merkel outlaws it
When are brits not talking about imperial though?
Also I told your mate to post more CCS wtf get your country sorted out
Right now? In the current year??????????? LIKE DUH??????????????
I was made to learn your language in school as well... What do you expect?
It's spelled "humor" Nigel
What do I expect? Fucking arabic next if I'm honest
LOL like you can lecture us on how to spell, given your entire language sounds like someone with a whole garlic clove shoved in their mouth and arse, which is not far off from reality actually
When my Uncle came over he told me a story from England where he accidentally said wog in a restaurant and a lot of folks stared at him and my Auntie. He didn't know why until a friend explained it to him. Yea its nigger. But in Australia, wog is basically any ethnic from Europe. Can be used for Russian as my Dad was called a wog growing up but more so for Balkans and South Europeans.
Yeah nigger is basically how I knew it, only learned it was originally used for other foreigners when I looked it up
Wog translates into Kanake in German, which stands for people who are southern-looking
Ahh, suppose that makes sense then. Maybe the Germans brought it along with immigration to Australia.

Celsius makes sense for science, and Fahrenheit best describes temperature as it relates to human comfort.
>the freezing point of some arbitrary brine solution relates to human comfort
keep telling yourself that
>this is what amerilards non-unironically believe
>0

>32

>70

>100
Too hot to comfortably be outside
does he have long nose hair or what is this "moustache"...
lots of cherry picking btw, but most of his points are true
hmmmmmmmmmmmm
we use both
Don't even bother explaining how based Fahrenheit is to yurohijabs, their tiny little bird brains can't handle it.
Good thing standardizing measuring tools ARE abundant now!
Reminder that almost everything in your system is dictated by the the International System of Measurements (SI). You should care about it because you literally wouldn't have an accurate and robust system without it.
Fahrenheit is superior to Celsius
>Americans confuses 45 degree Celsius with chilly weather
Eupean (spitting with rage): HOW can you be SO SUTPID
>Euro sees 100 degree Fahrenheit and thinks "everything should be on fire"
European: Ahhh haha. That's so funny, we are charmingly ignorant.
Europeans will find any reason they can think of to justify their little man complex. Quite cute how they think they're superior in any way compared to Americans
American is dumb like dog l.m.a.o.
To be fair, if that person is even serious, this is just ignorance and not stupidity.
didnt nl fucked you over a few times? eitherway there are in the eu and gb isnt, which makes them more relevant :)
>Too cold to be outside for most normal people
Completely subjective. Might be the case at 30 for some people and at -20 for others.
>32
Temperature at which water freezes, but is still comfortable ambient temp with a decent jacket
32 is not a round number so why do you mention it?
>70
Comfortable room temperature
Subjective. And actual room temperature is usually higher than that. Cool a room down to 70F in summer and it's not comfortable at all.
>100
Too hot to comfortably be outside
Subjective. Happens way before 100F for most people though.
By the way did you know temperature is used for things other than ambient temperature? It's true!
...
only here, it's the English equivalent for nigger over there. Comes from gollywog over there I think
Most American school curriculum is behind Europe by 20-30 years. Health and Education aren't on top of the Governments priority unlike it's military.
Normal day in stray cunt
they're not, in my experience Europeans tend to be way the fuck dumber and know fuck of a lot less about the world. a better question is, why are g*rmans so permabutthurt at the US that they struggle to find anything else to talk about?
>I like this silly East-Prussian with his outlandish just because scale.
No wonder you still use the imperial system too. Didn't know you liked the thumb of the English king so much.
0 Fahrenheit is pretty cold and 100 Fahrenheit is pretty hot. It matches everyday human experience.
If you want a scientific scale of temperature why not go all the way and measure it in units of energy?
I hate when someone says 12 AM or 12 PM... like, what do they mean? Meridiem means noon, so both of those sound like midnight to me.
>past time
kek americans confirming op:s image
Brits and nordics start to physically sweat at the idea of any temps above 20 so news like this generates a lot of clicks
>0 Fahrenheit is pretty cold and 100 Fahrenheit is pretty hot. It matches everyday human experience.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
OH SAY CAN YOU SEE?
They count until 12:59 at a time, but at 12:00 it already switches to the other half of the day. It's a bit retarded, but you can get used to it. It goes 11:59 AM and then 12:00 PM. So 12:00 AM is actually midnight.
He's right, though. Fahrenheit is also more flexible and precise because of the smaller value of a grade. Generally the argument is fucking retarded for both sides because you literally have no real points except "well this is what we're used to"
Ante meridiam, post meridiam. I thought this was a thread about how dumb the Americans are ;^)
They are pretending to be retarded
Dumb thread
>Let's define our temperature system with the human body temperature at 100 and the coldest winter in some town in Poland at 0, and completely incompatible with any physical calculations.
>Hey Cletus, can you cut me a 1.8 meters long piece of 2x4 wood? That's 1800 mm. - What's that in feet? - Uuuh, 5.90551 feet. - No, I mean feet and inches! - 5 feet and 10.86612 inches. - No, I mean fractions! - 5 feet and 10 and 55/64ths inches. - Coming right up!
>Fahrenheit is also more flexible and precise because of the smaller value of a grade.
Except that periods exist (i.e. 23.7°C).
ayyyy are you the same fucking guy as ? if you are then it's absolute comedy gold, if not, refer to his point. add to it the fact that there's no Celsius Inc. that trademarked the use of decimals in temperature measurements, so fahrenheit has them too ;)
>What kinda drill bit you need for this hole? 7mm? 8mm? - Nah duder, I need the 25/32 inch one!
>He's right, though. Fahrenheit is also more flexible and precise because of the smaller value of a grade.
holy fuck, how stupid are you?
>Not using Kelvin for science
