One of the big points of the comic is that Manhattan is the only actually "super" superhero. We know Silk Spectre, Nite Owl, and the Minutemen are just normal people, and The Comedian takes a bottle to the face in 'Nam and never recovers from it fully, so a healing factor seems unlikely, or any kind of super resilience.
