thrash edition

lmao wtf is that pic?

THRASH BITCHES.

If anyone has an answer to my question here:
it's appreciated. Posted it late in the the last thread.

Just get tung oil.

holy fuck just google lemon oil pau ferro. i use dunlop lemon oil on my rosewood fretboards and like the results.

I've played guitar my whole life and have just recently tried playing bass. Thing is, I keep getting some kinda buzz when I let off the fret, even if I do it as fast as possible.

what do

Can confirm

Don't do this.
Do this

Thanks, I'll look into it

I did, my point in my question was though that I kept getting a ton of different answers on Google. People saying lemon oil would dry out certain woods and stuff, that's what I was concerned of so I wasn't sure if I should only use a certain oil

>the most boring strat there is
not surprising

I dont need to hide nehind gaudy guitars or pedals like you losers.
>he doesnt appreciate a clean modest woman.

The beaner knocking out the monkey while his condor flies away

The thing about the graphic is that they're both roman.

Lemon oil is bad. It absolutely can dry out fretboards and cause them to crack.
Avoid anything petroleum-based. It can dry out fretboards and cause them to crack.
F-One oil is the best for fretboards. Mineral, almond and linseed oil are also good options recommended by Gibson.

Boiled linseed oil is a bad choice, blo has mercury in it, you want raw. Pure lemon oil is bad, most kinds you find for wood are lemon scented mineral oil.

we know you're a middle aged hobbyist wageslave with no ambition
why do you try to talk like a highschooler by the way?

guitarplayer.com/.amp/technique/46-chord-shapes-you-must-know-a-guide-to-chord-subtitutions

There’s this. How should I go about setting up a progression to know how to memorize it? And how many at a time? Like 5 a day? I’m thinking study five a day for 3 days at a time.

Halp

am i the only one here that just uses water for fretboards

Post things that make favela freaks mad
vocaroo.com/i/s1z6DAcxiVVv

Your ass still raw Sam?

>gaudy
>highschool
Not him but I thought the teeny bopper hep cats would say ratchet these days.

Not if it's my maple boards, everything else gets Dunlop lemon oil once a year.

>most kinds you find for wood are lemon scented mineral oil.
Lemon-scented mineral oil would be fine. I have found that a lot of lemon oil marketed for guitarists is petroleum-based, which is bad. If it doesn't say what the base is, don't buy it.

Chose a shape and play it for every note and memorize the position. Once mastered move to the next shape.

That's horrifying if it's not sealed.

Hes a literal retard that the brazilian government has recognized as such.

Mineral oil is petroleum based, petroleum solvents are bad.

technique.

I usually use Dunlop Formula 65. Also this Small amount of water and a cloth is how you clean richlite and a few other composites

WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS OF THESE BAD BOYS?

Huh, you're right. Then Gibson is retarded for recommending it.

Thanks, I'll look into it more then.

Good to know.

Cool I'll check it out

Can't modify. Easy to install.

Can you explain “shape”? Does that encompass the main chord and the different phrasings? (C, csus?) sorry. Terminology fucks me up.

Gibson markets a tone of bullshit. Mineral oil is fine for wood, it's been used without issue for decades as long as you don't use too much.

>tone of bullshit
No truer words have ever benn spoken on gg.

They sell F-One oil at Guitar Center if you have a local one. One bottle will last you years.

Yes.

Thanks satan. You never answered my prayers btw.

Easier install. Probably costs more. You don't have to individually pick parts.

Not a good idea for rosewood or ebony
I use F-One oil

Thanks, I won’t ever make fun of you again.

You are not allowed to post anything related to theory or playing. You can't play and you know shit. But keep bothering Sammy. That's good.
>Does that encompass the main chord and the different phrasings?
>different phrasings
That doesn't make sense. A shape is literally a transposable figure your fingers are making on the fretboard. No more. Look for CAGED system and learn from there. There is shit tons of videos and tutorials about that.

>shilling f one oil this hard
Marketing team plz go. These fa/gg/s can barely afford new strings.

Ha, I didn't see someone else already mentioned it.
Lemon oil is fine imo.

no, i knocked the attentionwhore out.

Hearing that makes ME mad.

The only thing you can knock off is your own teeth. Maybe the drool is going through there. What happened with the Alien amp? Play it loud, please. Do a Kiss cover as loud as you can.

OOOOOOOOOHH MASSA YOU GON MAKE ME BURN THRU DA CLEARCOAT

Still better than Agile.

I like that part at 3:00. I guess everybody liked it.

Post your tooth sam. And ill accept being an attentionwhore but only of you never post anything ever again.

>And ill accept being an attentionwhore
what do you mean by that? like you don't accept yourself yet? or like "i accept being your whore if you do this"?

Hey thanks.

Its plain english dumbass. Not my fault if you canr understand simple sentences. Whats it like being dumber than Koko the gorilla you macaco?

whats it like not being able to speak a second language?

In Sammy's defense, Koko's was smart af. He could play Kiss like a pro.

What's it like not being able to speak a first?

how did you come up with that

Monkey sounds arent a language macaco.

STOP UPLOADING YOUR SHIT CLIPS SAM
youtu.be/aoxn_VTnPc8

>implying sam can play that good

Lmfao

How did you learn to bend like that?

I THINK WE BROKE THE MACACO. OR MAYBE HIS NEIGHBOR CALLED THE COPS ON HIM AS HE TRIED TO TURN ON HIS GUITAR AMP.

Im not sure what you mean.

The bends at 3:00

Like how did i learn to bend or in that style?

How did you learn like that. It's pretty clear.

>to bend like that
Autofix'd.
Got bored having to repeat such a simple sentence.

I like the TB headstock on that.

>Kiss

ITH EVERBODY REDDY TO TAKE THEIR MEDITHINE?

youtube.com/watch?v=WsGDvMqcP94

Hmm i would have to say its influence from these guys.
youtu.be/XXx-DIa3s0g
youtu.be/2MqyUBA2YUg

rockrnoll!

Cringe.

good rendition of the solo, hadnt seen that one before.

Not as cringe as your bends.

youtube.com/watch?v=YbsYc3UNdZ4

Can I get a link to a good ear-training resource? The justin one isnt what im looking for.

Is there anyone else here who cannot use pedals? I don't have anything bad against guitarists using them, I just don't like the sound of chorus/flanger/phaser/delay pedals and I can never do anything interesting with them.

POST GUITAR PLAYERS THAT ARENT SHIT LIKE ACE FREHLEY.
youtu.be/47wq9W90bAQ

Don't you have a guitar?

Guitar straight into amp is best. Only acceptable pedals are dynacomp, wah, delay, and maybe overdive/boost.

I just did.
Who said Ace was a great soloist?
Marty is cool, but everybody messes up.
youtube.com/watch?v=TuhbUV-OCaU

flanger and phaser are dead. Delay is useful in some situation, and chorus if you don't have a compressor is quite useful too.

Hey Jcm post your improv over this. It's in A Ionian, very easy.

youtube.com/watch?v=llv9Kk41_kA

I use them all.
It depends on the chain and each individual style.

Lmao get some friends no one here wants to talk to your dumbass. Dont talk to me macaco.

I only use flanger and phaser when I'm doing 80's covers.

Man based on the other comments in this thread you certainly sound like a scale shape player, which isn't a good thing.

youtube.com/watch?v=aS_IYe5JTZ4

78045214
Suddenly mad? Can't post a simple improv?

I'm ok I'm not on the wank race

youtu.be/n3paW32rbb0

>dhuh it's some very complicated arpeggios that includes a very wide range of pitch
>turns out it's just going up and down with no actual far intervals

IMAGINE NOT BEING ABLE TO SWEEP PICK AND ONLY PLAYING ACE FREHLEY COVERS LMAO.

But you can't none of those, you delusional fucker.

Holy fuck learn some kind of language you dont know how to talk.
>cant do none
That means i can do it you fucking jackass. I feel so much pity for your parents. I cant imagine how they feel.

Why are you making such an ass of yourself?

Hell I don't touch a wah since I hate the way it sounds and the way guitarists use it.

Same as . I guess delay would be useful if you're the only guitarist in a band but every time I use it I sound like the Edge.
