B-b-b-b-but Reddit Letter Media told me Rogue One has no characters!

...

he has the face of a friend.

They honestly could have gotten away with one video.

Do I have to have all 3 of the first half?

...

Describe this character without using the words fat, pilot, or exploded.

You only need one. It's not on there, but armpit fetish also qualifies for the first part.

The rebels must have been pretty desperate for pilots huh?

He's an ambitious, but new recruit whose only dream was to stand by.

...

So basically Rey?

Oh wait, they actually showed Rey eating and scavenging by herself before meeting Fin.

Guess you're fucking wrong

Survivalist, a loner, distanced herself from ideals and people, as to avoid the pain they bring. Because of this self-cantered life-style, she has become very apathetic and narrow-minded, making it hard for her to understand, or even consider other people's points of view

>Rey did I ever tell you about Porkins? He was a capable pilot whose experience hunting sink crabs helped him become a specialist in strafing runs during his time as a Rebel pilot. He was also a competent dogfighter, amassing an impressive number of kills in his career. His skills at strafing, together with his large physical stature, earned him the nickname "Belly Runner". His build also earned him the nickname "Piggy". Porkins never objected to his friends joking about his size, which he attributed to the high gravity on Bestine IV, though on at least one occasion he reacted angrily to comments from an outsider.

>As a heavyset man, Porkins would set his inertial compensator to full while in flight. Wedge Antilles always considered this a possible factor in his death—had his compensation been lower, he may have realized how low he was and been able to attempt to correct it before he was struck by enemy fire.

>Despite his unflattering nicknames, Porkins made many friends among those he served with and was seen as both brave and noble and was one of the most respected pilots in the Rebel Alliance. His good friend Wes Janson often spoke highly of him, though Janson struggled with the guilt he felt about his absence from Yavin, feeling that this had contributed to Porkins's death.Wedge Antilles also considered Porkins to be among the best pilots he had flown with and was deeply hurt by his death. He was a good, fat friend.

F-, see me after class.

Only a Sith deals in absoloutes lol.

rey isn't content to be a nobody

she jumps at the first chance she gets to get out of sand land and join han and friends with her limitless skillset. ask yourself what rey's arc in TFA is? unlike luke she never has any training from noob to skilled, never had a mentor but still overcomes all challenges effortlessly. she has the same personality and ideals the entire movie.

compare this to jyn, who starts the movie indifferent to the political strife between the republic and empore. she is jaded and cynical since everyone she relied on abandoned her, including Saw who is a member of the "good guys"; a family friend and anti-imperialist. then she is unwillingly thrust into the conflict, reconnects with her father and becomes close with the rebels, both of which give her personal motivation to stop the empire. her arc is most similar to han in the original trilogy.

tl;dr rey a shit, jyn a actual character
