I don't know. Maybe you should make ten fucking threads a day about it until we figure it out.
Are you new? They've been our guys for fucking years, you ridiculous cunt.
>watching youtubers
people say Sup Forums is the problem when it's Sup Forumsedditors like you two who shit up the board
Yeah, probably. I enjoy them and don't really give a fuck who comes to Sup Forums
how can they be ourguys if they BTFO us
RLM has been Sup Forums core and /ourguys/ since 2009
Hell, this was before social media was the way it was. We took credit for making RLM happen back then too.
Only newfags and millennials would disagree, but they are just butthurt prequelfags.
The only people who like them are rabid insufferable fangays such as yourself despite them stagnating and being safe for years until they finally decided to not like Star Wars (again). As soon as they hate on it suddenly they are "our guys" despite being fucking reddit cancer and endlessly quoted and religiously followed by babby's first film analysis retards.
The literal only thing they have going for them is hating on large franchises, it's utterly fucking pathetic at this point. I'm not defending Star Wars or anything it takes a chimp to realize what it has become, but RLM and its fanbase of blind retards who need opinions fed into their reddit brains is a joke at this point.
>muh prequels
TOP KEK
How many fucking RLM threads do we need? This is embarrassing.
>Are they officially /ourguys/?
Who cares.
Because we're the worst kind of cunts and we hate ourselves anyway
It could be that OR they are just entertaining.
I still dont agree with their opinion on R1.
They need to stop treating it like a Star Wars movie. Its a war movie that ran through a Star Wars filter.
When I watch any other war movie, I dont need detailed explanation on what's happening, and why. The outcome of wars is in public knowledge. I dont need to be spoon fed details that almost everyone else knows. Same with StarWars. What happened in A New Hope is common knowledge. I know what the Force is. I know who Vader is. I know what the Death Star is. I dont need useless exposition.
R1 works as a standalone movie the same way that Saving Private Ryan works as a standalone movie.
Was some moron complaining about SPR being confusing because he didnt get that zee Germans were the bad guys?
>They made two jokes that seem to intend that they support Trump and despise BLM as terrorists
At first I hate them now I realized they're based
because ourguy is an unfunny Sup Forumseddit meme and faggots like OP are going to force it whether it makes sense or not
I wonder how much they regret shilling for TFA now.
They're just fans of well structured movies. Everyone is always trying to pin some sort of agenda or bias on them but if you watch their reviews it'd basically 1 to 1, they like a movie of its well structured and especially if it's doing something bold or new.
Their Force Awakens review was a little overly positive but they made it at like fucking 3 am after just leaving the movie with no time to think about it. It's easy to see why they would have been initially taken by it. It is well structured and it was the first dose of Star Wars in two decades after all. It's pretty clear that after a few days passed their opinion on it soured like it did for most people. But Mike still points out that at least it had a story structure and halfway decent characterization. It's better than a lot of other crap, just not good enough to be great or even memorable.
the difference is rlm is actually funny when they are being ironic
I wasn't planning to see R1, but thanks to the butthurt it brought these hacks i'm going to watch in a couple of hours.
>THREE VIDEOS
Also BTFO of Trump haters.
>butthurt
Another mark worked based Mike.
They jerk off to shitty Marvel movies and those aren't "well structured movies." They're the worst kind of manchildren.
>i waste my time watching a shitty flick
>that will show those mildly popular youtube critics
how pathetic can a mans life get?
They have no emotional investment into those, so they don't care that they are shallow and soulless cash grabs.
It hurts Mike to see Star Wars turn into MCU, even though he predicted it 100% years ago, but he won't admit it.
5D chess, mang, 5D chess in between takes of Space Cop 2: Look How Detached Ironic We Are!

>THREE VIDEOS
Everybody bitchin' and moanin' about 3 videos against R1 when what we should really be talking about is that these R1 videos is the best work they have done in years.
You're delusional and looking for things that aren't there in order to validate your viewpoint.
Good for you thinking having friends is something to boast about on an cambodian embroidery forum.
You guys really must be a special bunch.
It's actually a little scary just how good they are at imitating shitty nerd culture podcasts.
These attacks against RLM are coming from reddit because they are butthurt about ghostbuster hate.
This. 3 stars wars videos in a week from RLM feels like a late Christmas present
>t. libturd
I actually thought they were making a podcast called "The Nerd Crew xD".
I was almost pulling the trigger
>When I watch any other war movie, I dont need detailed explanation on what's happening, and why. The outcome of wars is in public knowledge. I dont need to be spoon fed details that almost everyone else knows
This is the mentality I had going into the film and I liked it much more than I thought I would.
I feel like RLM went into expecting something else with the way they were saying that what people really want is a depressing, war movie instead of light-hearted adventure.
Shit, I feel like TFA was an even darker film than R1 because it completely changed the OT and you saw how all of their hard work turned out to be meaningless. Kylo himself shits on two of the main characters storylines that should have been left alone.
>I feel like RLM went into expecting something else
Yeah they were probably expecting a good movie.
Or an actual coherent plot and relatable characters
They literally called Daisy Ridley charismatic
I mean what the fuck
Fuck off Jay
No, it's just a single video designed to make fun of nerd culture podcasts. They even have a fake ad at the end where they make fun of services like Loot Crate.
Is this pasta or do you completely lack self awareness?
>not knowing immediately it was satire
How's it feel to be retarded?
she is. her character might suck but that's not her fault
>made popular for a review of TPM, saying it's bad
>make a review saying TFA is good
Sup Forums is the biggest fucking embarrassment on Sup Forums, and that's bad
I think they were expecting a movie about a ragtag team of rebels stealing the plans to the Death Star, which isn't at all what they got.
i am better than every single one of you because i have never seen any star wars movies
Not everyone has your insane bitterness towards women.
>she is
WTF? She's a wooden board of mouth agape and eyes wide open, and she provides zero reason for the people in the film to like her as much as they do.
you sound like the very exact fanboys they are making fun of
We'll they do so
Get over it Sup Forumsirgin
I'd argue that they went in expecting a Great movie based on their experience with TFA and how Disney handled their first SW movie. So anything short of on-par with TFA wouldn't have made it a "good" movie in their eyes.
Plot is coherent, you are confusing story with plot.
I related more with Cassian and Jyn than I ever did with Finn and Rey.
Jay is in love with strong female protagonists, even if they're mary sues he will defend them like the white knight he is.
I disagree.
See, this is why all this arguing over Star Wars is pointless. All I have to say is "I disagree" and I've made a completely valid, irrefutable point. It's not conclusive in any way, but it works and there's nothing you can do to argue it.
Our guy started on Sup Forums though.
projecting a bit too hard here bud
That's because she's a Mary Sue, user.
If people like a character for no reason of her own, it's poor writing.
The only possible things they would like are her abilities, which again, are characteristics of a Mary Sue.
Have a look at Ripley or Sarah Connor for good female heroes.
>Jay is in love with strong female protagonists
Yes I remember when he praised Sucker Punch. Or Ghostbusters 2016. Or Jupiter Ascending.
Seriously what are you basing this dumb comment on?
>Jay is in love with strong female protagonists, even if they're mary sues he will defend them like the white knight he is.
You realize you're saying this in a thread that's all about how Jay and the rest of RLM trashed Rogue One right?
>Liking the turd that is TFA
>/ourguys/
No.
>I disagree
>THAT'S THE END
Not at all, user.
If you take everything as subjective for art, then you may as well throw out all critique of the same, including reviews.
Plot is quasi coherent.
If you related with Cassian and Jyn you must have aspergers or some sort of autism.
Watch the interrogation scene again and tell me she isn't a good actress.
He did praise GB2016 for it, Leslie Jones was the best part of the movie for him. None of the other movies have strong, female characters.
Jyn isn't a strong womyn, she's a scared little girl that wants to run away until her daddy dies and she wants to make it right by going on a mission to make it right. They were some kind of suicide squad or something.
Sup Forums loves everything made by the walt disney company
For RO, the visuals and action were great. The rest, not so much.
At least it had the action over TFA. The action in TFA was stale and did nothing new. TFA didn't even have action going for it.
nobody thinks you're cool for disliking TFA, it actually makes mike patrician for seeing the quality that is tfa
I think he got Jay mixed up with Doug Walker. Doug Walker is obsessed with strong female protagonists.
I agree, Star Wars Rogue One a Star Wars story is like saving private ryan, when people go and see Star Wars Rogue One a Star Wars story they should should not expect a fun space adventure, they should know that Star Wars Rogue One a Star Wars story went beyond this.
It reached much deeper, it was an experience, the bleakness of it, the gritty characters who need to get the job done.
Like Saving Private Ryan where we got to see the landing on Omaha Beach and experienced the horrible death of those men lying there on that beach with their guts exposed screaming MAMA, MAAAAAMAAAA Star Wars Rogue One a Star Wars story is here to remind us of how dark and gritty this world is.
Forget lord of the rings with a message that response to finding hope even in the most darkest and worse situations.
Star Wars Rogue One a Star Wars story is an experience that reminds us of reality, that we have to live with terrorism, that we SHOULD be afraid, that we should focuss on our differences and not what makes us the same as human being.
It truely is an amazing film, showing us how horrible, terrifying and bleak the future, our environment and humans all are but that we cannot hope for change or muster the willpower to change ourselves or our society for the better.
It really does a great job of just bringing you down, and kids should learn that early on in life.
Me personally I loved Star Wars Rogue One a Star Wars story.
>If you related with Cassian and Jyn you must have aspergers or some sort of autism.
I do, is this fucking news to you, where the fuck do you think we are?
I just watched the movie again to see wtf Jay was on about and he's wrong.
She's a terrible actress, that scene was fucking awful and your hard on for Daisy is showing m8
He did praise GB2016 for it, Leslie Jones was the best part of the movie for him.
lol you're a fucking idiot. He thought she was the best part but still trashed the movie and ridiculed the idea that you should be guilt tripped into liking it by feminist bullshit.
The scene is passable, but nothing special.
That provides no reason to like the character. To me, how she turned the "mind probe" around made me dislike her for unrealistic in-universe abilities.
So, according to you, a review of a couple of shit films, on a shit subect matter, by a group of film critics/comedians, has to coincide with your thoughts on said shit film exactly?
Roger Ebert had different opinions on films than Siskel did, so does Armond White, why then must RLM not have the freedom to voice their own critic or opinon of a film wihtout Sup Forums sperging the fuck out?
You think that saying Leslie Jones gave a good performance in Ghostbusters is the same as "loving strong female protagonists"?
He said Leslie Jones was the only character that felt like a real human. How is that "praise?" Your'e really stretching to create some sort of bizarre headcanon about RLM personalities.
>lol you're a fucking idiot. He thought she was the best part
You could've stopped their since we're only discussing female characters and not the entire movie. He's a hypocrite at best.
Yes, she was definitely the strongest character in the entire movie, and it was the only redeeming factor for Jay when reviewing the movie.
I don't have to throw out shit. I can criticize whatever the fuck I want. Do you know why? It's because I disagree.
Does Disney provide you with a script to copypaste or do you have to come up with this shit yourself?
Who gives a fuck about TFA, you assholes immediatly make comparisons to it.
In order to critic a film or have an opinion on it, it must be analysed on it's own merit.
Writing, acting, directing, technical work.
If people say it's more of a war film, shouldn't the comparison be to something like saving private ryan, or the thin red line, even pearl harbor, why always go to TFA.
So that's it then, you can't relate to actual normal characters.
You would relate more to Jyn Erso than to Indiana Jones
TFA is carried almost entirely by Kylo Ren and Han Solo. It was the first time I'd seen Harrison Ford give a shit in over a decade. Pretty surprising from a guy who clearly wanted out. He stepped back into the role like he had never left.
Ok, so he thought Leslie Jones gave a good performance and he thought Daisy Ridley gave a good performance.
Do you really think that's literally all the data you need to come to the final conclusion that Jay has some kind of obsession over seeing strong female protagonists in movies?
Okay. So how does him thinking Leslie Jones was the best part of a terrible movie somehow mean that he loves all strong female characters? Especially since the Leslie Jones character wouldn't even be considered the strong female character trope?
>You would relate more to Jyn Erso than to Indiana Jones
strewth
I've actually just finished reading the novelization after reading the prequel book. Jyn is an amazing character and you really get inside her mind. I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from.
Fuck Disney and fuck you.
I asked you smething and the only response you have is to call me a shill, great comeback asshole.
>It was the first time I'd seen Harrison Ford give a shit in over a decade
He looked like he was dying inside in every scene.
He is dying you jack ass
>muh muh muh muh muh MUH
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA
>It was the first time I'd seen Harrison Ford give a shit in over a decade.
Are you literally blind?
>muh prequels
butthurt rogue one super fan detected
I do, actually, so i understand that you're opinion to actual films is shit.
Not realting to more than half of cinema characters means that you know nothing about film.
When it first started I actually thought that it was going to be some bastard side project from Previously Recorded or something
I don't think you know what it looks like when Harrison Ford is dying inside.
If you want to see what it looks like when Harrison Ford is dying inside, watch Ender's Game.
>comparing depictions of actual conflict to space fairy tales for babbies
wew
I just thought it from the title. Cool off Autists.
It became apparent pretty quickly even if you don't know rlm
>tfw RLM made at least $50,000 from additional ad impressions brought in by Rogue One videos
>tfw Jessi is going to spend it all on Tiffany necklaces and Louis Vuitton handbags
>Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Projecting what you wanted to see despite what was on screen. He owned the role like he always did and was more than just Harrison Ford in a jacket. Han dying was the fee for a good performance.
