I wish smoking wasn't so bad for you. I'm sure it makes you better at playing.

I like to think so too

Why is Jeff Waters so good?
youtube.com/watch?v=yfVowvsqYXg

I don't care what anyone says the Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster is just as good IF NOT BETTER than a Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster.
Sure it deviates from the traditional Jazzmaster tone and sound by having pickups similar to p90's than regular JM pickups but NO ONE FUCKING USES A JAZZMASTER FOR JAZZ.
FACE IT SQUIER IS A GOOD BRAND
Anyone who disagrees with not believing this could easily be a $700 guitar is a fucking idiot.

Do you have an Agile too?

Is it autism?

Yamaha's were brought up in the last thread, so I was wondering
Has anyone played their higher end Pacifica guitars?
I think I may be becoming a Yamaha stan

Not his name is Robert

Again with this guy?

Anything new to share?

Nice Dean, I guess (again...)

Somebody better reply to my darn post

its chidean HAHaha he got busted.

your post? you have something to say mate?

magnifique

I can't find a gosh danged guitar in the color I like and I don't hecking know how to paint one.

Fat Strats and JCM 900's will turn you gay, this is a scientifically proven fact and this general contains a poster who ravenously craves dicks all the time as a result. Warn your children of the homosexual axe before it is too late.

Just paint it with household paint and a brush retard.

>only responding because trips

What color guitar are you looking for?

What do you want from us?

To the guy who wanted to know about classical, this guy was regarded as an am aging guitarist by Andrés Segovia.

I want you to help me

that shit is obsolete and the brand marshall is disgusting

>heads
when you can have amazing tones from a pedal like the VH4 by diezel then plug it into a portable power amp like the Seymour Duncan Powerstage

>darn
>danged
>hecking
As amusing as the 60 year old technologically incompetent Christian persona may appear to you at this time, you must admit it’s deeply unlikely said fictional character would end up on Sup Forums of all places thus rendering your ruse incompetent at best.

I just don't like to swear. I dont mind when other people do it.

I'm pretty sure I know who this guy is. Literally no one says hecking...

Ok, so what colour guitar do you want?

I've never posted in this general before

Magenta

I've got this pedal. Great pedal. It's not a head though.

ok...so? I know who you are still.

you are both roman.

and you are randy. go to bed.

I doubt it.

Hello bob from Florida.

care to explain?

I don't even live in the US

I know. You live in Nederlands.

I'm in nippon

>Is it autism?
Although that word is bandied about all the time here Fripp I think probably is an aspergers case. He is just so incredibly weird and egocentric.

I tried a lower end revstar and it felt super solid and at least 300 more than selling price of 299

...

I like that diarrhea on the napkin there

Anyone else use Mammoth Tusk Ivory on their guitars? Taking my Nigson tomorrow to have a new nut installed and will probably pay the extra bit for the mammoth ivory.

I was looking at those yesterday. Only issue would be transportation to other countries due to cites. Prolly paying more for the novelty.

Do you think they would notice? I haven't heard of anyone having trouble traveling with their rosewood/ebony guitars so I doubt they would be thorough .

Who knows. Laws are pretty new so full extent of enforcement is yet to be seen.

why?

So when Gibson finally shits the bed pretty soon, what do you guys want to see from it's restructuring?

good guitars.

russian flag on guitar?

Red pill me on tonewood

It don't matter, none of it matters

Dual Rec or 6505?

fender 5105.

>he doesn't use emgs
How's all that noise and hiss working out for you, dumbass?

less gain less hiss, metalfag

I play clean, brainlet.

Prove it

How awful is this:
JM Stained Alder Body
Strat Single Coil Neck
LP Neck Humbucker Middle
Tele Single Coil Bridge
String Through Tele Bridge Plate with Trem
Tele Controls with 5 Way Selector
Knurled Knob Killswitch right side of Middle Pickup
Tele Tortoiseshell Pickguard
Maple Strat Neck with Rosewood Fretboard

Nice. I was actually just trying to bait you into playing desu.

i just wanted to try my new usb audio interface

vocaroo.com/i/s07D4nYQMeqR

>LP Neck Humbucker Middle
what?

>FACE IT SQUIER IS A GOOD BRAND
I agree. I play a 50s classic vibe tele, it's really good and I love it.
I don't think they're better than Fenders but I've always tried not to get caught up in needing the best everything. I don't have much money and I play mostly acoustic anyway. Once you've got a half decent rig you find comfortable, gear improvements can only do so much for you. I know that's not what /gg/ wants to hear but that's what I think.

Are you saying I'm not important to you? What the fuck user.

what do you think about fenders that look like gibsons?

What do they sound like? The pickups o mean.

like bright humbuckers

Haha wow

The only antidote is Gibsons + a proper JTM/Plexi-like Marshall amp.

Have fun user

That's quite interesting user. Having said that, I don't particularly have a specific brand I like, but i do like this idea here.

Gay

Daily Reminder:
Agile > nigson
Also would you recommend a beginner learn with jazz flats? I want to try some flatwound strings, any recs? Looking for 10s with not-so-crazy tension

Thomastik-infield swing strings

find a pro to refinish it or just deal with a normal colour

this 32 note passage is so cool. how to use chomatics in real life improvisation?

Are you a pro?

I can tell you that in general, you don't want to linger on the out of key/scale notes. They should be passing tones. In general.

what's wrong with my rubato?
vocaroo.com/i/s14w2XTpDlIZ
youtube.com/watch?v=jNWd3enMEVo

Did someone say rub a toe?

This kills the Fender Stratocaster.

Ralph Towner is so based. What do you think is wrong with your rubato? Sounds fine to me, I find that rubato is often a matter of taste. You 'll have teachers criticizing you for something that just isn't up to their own standard.

Does it have a good resale value?

If not fuck off

towner rubato sounds so natural. my variation of his piece sounds too heavy

Do you live in a pineapple under the sea?

Getting a factory finish is no small task. Even with all the helpful tools it still requires patience and an eye for detail. It's simple enough, strip, sand, seal, paint, varnish.

do you hear seagulls?

I can hear what you're talking about. I don't think the biggest issue is timing but the picking dynamics. In towner's playing the melody in the trebles comes out much stronger than the bass notes , where as in your playing it's all more evenly balanced. There's no "right" way to interpret it though, just work on it til you're happy.

No. Not really. I hear an absorbent and porous yellow sound.

I listened to it through a set of mastering phones, what I heard was the difference between a fairly good direct recording and an open sound stage recording. To me the bass is lost on the Towner recording and it's such a shame not to be able to hear it the way he hears it. You could tweak it ex post facto with a little hall reverb or a an eq to your liking. Nice job.

Gibson can fuck off and die. Ugliest and most boring guitars ever. Hope I never have to see them again.

>he masters audio with headphones

KYS you imbecile, where did I say anything about using phones for mastering.

White employees

...

i'm kinda sick of flame maple tops honestly, i'd rather use a solid finish or a translucent on a different top.

thay's the only downside i see here though, looks sexy as hell otherwise. too bad it's probably overpriced as all fuck

What's the best noise suppressor out there? Something that doesn't suck tone and has more than just one knob unlike a decimator
