It's not that bad, all provinces guarantee two weeks paid vacation except for Saskatchewan which is 3 weeks.
Ours just doesn't look that good because it's handled at the provincial rather than federal level. This doesn't include anywhere from 5-9 federal and provincial paid statutory holidays (something only Canada and Germany do.)
It's not the Nordic's 25 days, but it's a hell of a lot better than America's 0
