Director makes a cameo in his own movie

>Director makes a cameo in his own movie

>director uses the same actors every movie

fucking hacks

>director plays a role in his own movie

>director makes a cameo in every single one of his movie

>Director does a POW.

I'm very okay with this.

I fucking hate this so much. I can't watch a Johnny Depp movie anymore without assuming it's Tim Burton.

>director makes a cameo as a literal cuck in his own movie
>unironically one of Sup Forums's favorites

>Wilhelm Scream

...

>Director puts his own family in his movie

>when a director plays Notluwiski Papanoida in his own movie

When I'm an established director I will be doing a cameo where I reenact the Donald Trump in Home Alone 2 scene in every film.

>Director puts wife in movie
>she's the worst actress, but gets tons of screen time and ruins an otherwise great movie

name one who does that
and post a picture of his ugly kid while you're at it

Please do

Not a movie, but the original Phantom of the Opera cast.

Resident evil franchise
Underworld

GREAT MOVIES MAN REAL FUCKIN GREAT

That Guy Ritchie movie that starred Madonna

Tim Burton does this as well. Funny that she divorced him after he stopped being successful...

spring breakers

David Mamet's daughter is CUTE!!!

Rob Zombie

Not a movie, but Dr Cox's wife in Scrubs. Ever wonder why they rarely kiss and have a strange chemistry during serious scenes when it's not banter?

>director makes an appearance in his own movie
>it's a sex scene

Why is that bad?

Kek, my favorite director cameo.

The last part when he said it'd fucking destroy it he means a 38 or 45 shot in the vagina not the bbc

>author of the book the movie is based on makes a cameo

>Director puts his daughter and daughter of his friend in a home video
> releases this as movie in theaters.

Owen will make a total 10/10 if he can remove that ugly nose

This is fucking awful. In Sweden we have a director called Colin Nutley who literally must have done twenty movies with his wife Helena Bergström in the lead role. I hate them both so much.

But yeah, Burton/Depp/Bonham Carter is the same thing.

When did he stop being successful?

kevin smith
judd apatow

In fairness, Leslie Mann is hardly the worst thing about any given Judd Apatow movie

>its a happy Madison Adam Sandler and friends movie
>again

>Kevin Smith
>jay and silent Bob strike back
The crew of the 3 babes and his Frankenstein wife will never not be hilarious. She just looks so much worse compared to the others

At least those wives were already actresses. Kevin Smith's wife never was an actress and you can telly she doesn't want to be on screen and is only there to help Kevin with his fetishes.

At least Jay Mewes was entertaining once upon a time.

Goosebumps did this fantastically
>jack black plays RL Stein as a main character
>RL Stein cameos at the end walking by in the background of the school
>jack black as RL Stein says "that's Mr Black the new music teacher"

That's great.

he's talking about the gun he has in the last two frames

Nah, always shitty hair.

back when he had his original teeth

But David Lynch and Naomi Watts are great together

Wes Anderson?

>babby's first metahumor
ya sure was fantastic

It's literally a show for kids, so yes, It's good enough.

Sons of Anarchy, whoever played Gemma was director's wife

gaspar noe?

What a story Mark!

>director is in his own movie
>character's name is his name

also jodorowsky
but he mostly raped the girls in his movies

cameos are okay, but having speaking parts or taking up whole scenes is not okay. that's one reason i hate tarantino (one of many reasons) is because he's a shitty actor and a self-indulgent prick. and then he goes and puts eli roth, another piece of shit director, in two of his movies. i fucking hate both those assclowns

It's good when Hitchcock does it

I find Scorsese and De Niro to be an exception to this one

and a lot more

he does that in order to stress the artificiality of his films (a way of reminding the audience that it's only a movie).
