Watched The Girl With All the Gifts, what a garbage movie. Knew nothing about it going in. Opening 10 minutes thought it was going to be about controlling information and the effects of it on people, that the girl escapes, sees the real world etc. 15 minutes in and it turns into an awful zombie movie with moronic characters.
first for based me!
what should i watch tonight
Suzanne's Career
Thoughts on Kurosawa's Kagemusha? What's your favorite Kurosawa flick?
Ikiru
high and low
Going to watch Manchester by the sea this morning, got some free tickets to an advance screening (comes out Friday here), pretty hype
To me it was more about exploring the meaning of faith itself, and the power it holds over people and communities
They've all been released on blu-ray and have been uploaded to various online websites
Heard some really good things about it, was going to check it out at some point, shame you didn't like it
...
I can't help that the top of my bell is 3.5/4
I try to only watch movies that I'd find at least decent. Like, if I wanted to adjust my curve so it's more centered, I'd have to watch/rate more shit that I just don't care about like Passengers or Assassins creed or whatever bullshit.
I don't get why people think having a centered curve is necessarily good. How about you stop watching so many shit movies
>not caring about Assassin's Creed
pleb
Caring about your curve or caring about what others think of your curve is dumb and autistic
Complete this sentence
>W___ F_____ aka L___ G____ is a P___
>tfw too shy to post my profile here
Claire's Knee is far better.

>Come to "We own everything you post in here" Discord.
I sure hope you haven't shared any of your screenplays or films in Discord.
Wonderful friend, aka Link_Gorro, is a patrician!
>tfw can't decide if I like a film or not

>only get like 6 likes per review
>Been doing this since 2012
>Dont care tho. I like seeing my writing evolve over time

this isnt meant as an insult btw
>so if i read the novel should i be fine w/o subs?You're a retard.
Pity machill is too saintly to say that straight

I watched it thinking I was desensitized to it by now but it was still awful. The way she apologized while crying.
Why? Just because some attention whore hangs herself and people want to watch that?
Possibly, but a big lot less than most here

Hope your future daughter hangs herself too

Your recent activity says yes but your favorites say no.
Cinemos is a brand new film discovery site from the makers of Rate Your Music. Cinemos is currently in development and will launch in 2028.
Manchester by the sea was good
Casey did a really good job of expressing the full range of emotions humans are capable of, drunk and happy, drunk and sad, really sad, as wanting to be dead.
Deserves the oscar for sure
>tfw free ticket also came with a free ice cream
many obscure films are obscure because they are bad/average, and the critically acclaimed ""canon"" is so because it's generally good in my opinion
Reminds me that I need to put Die Hard in there somewhere
>MbtS
can that kino hit the fucking stream services already
I'm gonna read Kenneth's plays/novels desu
Kys you entitled faggot
>Rate Your Music
Blegh.
>Manchester by the Sea
Blegh.
Not even the gremlins are safe
What happened to all the guys who actually liked movies?
Most of them were either bullied out or are instead watching movies rather than shitpost endlessly.
Why Blegh for Manchester? Have you seen it?
No, but everyone loves it.
don't worry, machill is still here
...
Why don't you show me your backlog?
Which old /lbg/ user do you miss the most?
