This is amazing. We're electing children to lead us. This might be the best picture I've ever seen in my life, thank you user, I can put the shotgun away now. Life is worth living.

It's pretty funny. I think a return to aristocracy is inevitable.

...

...

They're aliens I tell you.

Just look at their faces. They look like masks.

Bump for hillarity

Don't get your way? have a temper tantrum.

Kek, who elected this cocksucker?

Fuck, I'm a liberal and find this shit embarrassing. They look fucking ridiculous.

These are the same people that just recently voted against Republican proposed legislation that would require anyone on the terror watch list to wait a few days so the FBI has a chance to prove a person shouldn't own a gun. It's a completely reasonable bill that's calibrated to help keep guns in the hands of good people and away from bad people and it respects the rights of gun owners by making it so the government has to prove somebody shouldn't have a gun instead of the other way around. This is everything the leftists say they want but they voted against it.

and the democrats have the floor

Why is the last resort of niggers to sit around and do nothing whilst making demands like a child?

Christ, it's like they don't even want to work at all. And then they go off and blame Republicans for not doing anything at all when they are the ones staging the sit-ins.

They literally voted against similar bills with due process changes 2 days ago, and now they're going to bitch that it's Republican obstructionism. Hopefully nobody is retarded enough to fall for this shit.

They've accidentally revealed their hand, yet again. Joe Manchin says, "Due process is what's killing us right now!"

name of the bill? I'd love to read it fully and have ammo to throw in my leftist friends faces.

I say we did what we did last time

Look at all the diversity sitting around getting nothing done.
Ladies and Gentleman, the Democratic party.

>did what we did
do*

I can't find the name of it but John Cornyn was the one that proposed it.

They literally look like petulant children who are being defiant after being told no... which is precisely what they are.

This picture sums up the modern democratic party in a nutshell, and I say this as a former democrat who has become disgusted party.

Holy shit.
You south africa now.

>a sit in

what, is congress now high school girls protesting the dress code?

Compared to the retards the right wing elects like people that deny evolution and climate change? Or all the anti-gay people who turn out to be closet homos?

Spray dem damn naggers

>notanSJW.jpg

i didn't see Sup Forums complaining when republicans acted like petulant children using filibusters to get their way

implying that republishits are any better. Your two party system is a joke my burger friend. It has enslaved your nation.

>to push republicans

What? It's Democrats who flaked on their voting. The filibusters only got them under half Democrats they had no chance of pushing it

that nigger's face is killing me lol

>Nigger in charge
>Let's do nufffins and hold a sit in
>Dindu nuffins proceeds

lmafofamalam

Is this reality?

>Baby Boomers

I miss when the Greatest Generation was still in control.

What would happen if obama flew over to the house and joined the sit in? Would the country implode?

>b-b-but the other guys are dumb too! They have different OPINIONS!

God, you guys are insufferable. As annoying as "MUH JEBUS" is for politics, it is nowhere near as petty as the left's inability to comprehend that they are not the majority (and thus 100% factually correct) on every single opinion, especially when it comes to guns. For fuck's sake, they are still parroting that shitty 90% survey that only asked 3000 people from 3 lefty states if "they agreed with background checks that save lives" from after the Sandy Hook happening.

Surprised that no one has suggested that since we have all these liberals in one area that Republicans use it as an opportunity.

degenerating democracy preceds tyranny

Yes, surely having a different political party for every special interest group (and multiple socialist parties, because the others aren't "true socialism") resulting in a clusterfuck that just keeps the nanny state in power is so much better. Why can't we just be like our Aussie or Yuro brethren and just have a government that ignores its populace and only manages to do anything when it is restricting rights?

Someone needs to get the fire hoses down there asap.

>Using a filibuster to as a legitimate tactic as laid out in the law to block legislation or stall a vote is the same as literally sitting on the fucking floor like a child because people did not pass your legislation.

Do I really need to point out the problem with your logic...?

In 30 years when all the modern pussified liberals start getting into Congress, this will happen weekly.

its all the same shit

...

From Wikipedia
John Robert Lewis (born February 21, 1940) is an American politician and civil rights leader. He is the U.S. Representative for Georgia's 5th congressional district, serving since 1987, and is the dean of the Georgia congressional delegation. The district includes the northern three-quarters of Atlanta.

Atlanta's Racial composition 2014 1990
Dindus 51.4% 67.1%
White 41.3% 31.0%
—Non-Hispanic 38.3% 30.3%
Asian 3.7% 0.9%
Hispanic or Latino (of any race) 4.7% 1.9%

Not suprising

Yet recently he voted against H.R.5471, Countering Terrorist Radicalization Act (which passed 402-15)
Read about it here: thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d114:HR05471:@@@L&summ2=m&

People like this are the problem with our government

No it is not. If they were filibustering a bill that was up for a vote that would be different, as it is part of our democratic process. They literally did not get their way and now are literally being petulant children sulking on the floor of the house hoping people will feel sorry for them and give them their way. This is childish and does not show a character befitting lawmakers.

>mfw they turn it into a love-in

what a bunch of fucking idiot cucks. we put these (((people))) in office.

GET EM OUT, ALL OF EM OUT
DAY OF THE ROPE NOW

>Republicans mounted a floor protest over energy legislation on August 1, 2008. After then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi adjourned the House, the bill—which would, in part, lift a federal ban on offshore oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge—was left without a vote.
but it's okay if the repubelicans do it right

...

>this garbage shilling

Did he say that?

You still have a queen.

You're a joke and just as comparable to these idiots, cucked leaf. How does Trudeaus asshole taste?

>oh no, he he figured out that repubelicans are hypocrites! shill!!!!! libtard!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes

First anti civil rights sit in I've ever seen.
youtu.be/DNDcd1Fe5lg

>lets argue of who's shitpile of governments has the most turds

Cmon now.

>sit in
>have luxury and cell phones
>can tell people to fetch them water and food

Must be tough.

Their liberals
Their constituents think they are brave and courageous

all these people ITT who don't care if kids get shot

Can I get a citation on that?

...

they arent even hiding they are acting like shredding the laws is the right thing to do

>The mask slips

> me and my twin bro were playing outside and he sprayed me in the face with a garden hose and I could feel the water shoot into my eyelids and behind my eyeballs.

What would happen if you got hit in the face with a hose like that?

Cornbyn or whatever his name was offered up a proposal and the dems rejected it 53-47.

The Republicans are trying to help. Giving three days for the gubment to prove that a suspected terrorist shouldn't buy a gun.

Due process protected, but 2nd amendment still infringed. I don't like it.

Painting the Republicans as evil for trying to keep the people's rights intact.

This guy looks like an evil fucker tbqf

I always knew blacks never stood for anything.

fuck off rethuglican

Have you ever listened to a congressmen? They are not very bright people. If they are they become senators, cabinet members, or other people with more power.

Holy shit how embarrassing.

DO YOU FUCKING IDIOTS KNOW WHAT SYMBOLISM IS?!

NO FUCKING SHIT THEY'RE SITTING LIKE CHILDREN THEY'RE STANDING IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN KILLED EVERYEAR TO GUNS

fuck you underage kids are dumb

Exactly.

They're sitting on the ground like old school civil rights protesters, sitting on the ground for every gentle giant killed by a cop, every hoodie wearing kid murdered by a white thug.

>Due process protected,but 2nd amendment still infringed. I don't like it.

Due process is literally the only reason we can keep felons from voting though. If you can't vote I don't think you should own a gun either, and the only way that's a reasonable restriction is through due process.

what are you even saying

That the law is constitutional and good and everyone should have supported it.

atleast SOMEONE in this thread has some fucking common sense

>useful idiots
Dark times lads, if only they could see how they're being used.

Dems rejected repub proposals.

Repubs rejected dem proposals.

This is somehow repubs fault.

You are a moron.

Either way both proposals are garbage and would do more harm than good.

>this apple is like that orange

Cool trips though

yeah but that guy said he liked the due process part but not the bill overall, then you used the fact that due process is good as a reason he should have liked the bill.

pic related

>Democrats are a minority when it comes to representation
>they claim they're representing a "majority view" that guns need to be better regulated
>2 + 2 = 5

Yeah but I don't know why you wouldn't like the bill overall since it's actually narrowly tailored.

The court of public opinion has already decided and doesn't care about facts (which do not particularly favor Republicans anyway). If they were good politicians they would have known what was going on, read the recent polls, and submitted a proposal that was actually reasonable rather than one that places untenable strain on the judicial system. But, again, congressmen (on both sides) are generally pretty stupid. This time the Democrats win in the eyes of independents and even some moderate Republicans because Republican policy for the past two decades handed them it.

because of the 2nd amend. infringement part I assume, idk I'm not the original guy. I was just confused because you seemed to agree with him while also disagreeing somehow.

>due process is untenable strain
Why don't you just move to a hellhole that has the closest to whatever accusation-is-guilt system you desire?

>What would happen if you got hit in the face with a hose like that?
If you're lucky you just lose your eyes.

...

Jesus that bitch made my blood boil.

at the end

>after having a discussion about how we don't want any more terror attacks

>considering the director of the CIA testified that ISIS is increasing their efforts to send agents to the West, do you think it might be time to cut down on the amount of refugees we take?

>oh no no no. We can't do that. Europe takes so many! Lets just rip up due process and the second amendment instead, and take more refugees. The vetting process is really long and tough, I've heard! Isn't that Drumpf just such a meanie poopoo head?

The recent polls are unambiguous, even Scalia, in his majority opinion in Heller, maintained that guns should be regulated. If anything the idea of unregulated guns is a niche Libertarian ideal.

The current debate is over the proposed means of regulation and whether or not it violates due process.

Yeah, sorry, that's not how due process works. Never has and never will. Courts are arbiters of judicial conflict, not omniscient overseers. Policies of systematically restricting rights through administrative means based on legislated criteria are the way government functions. As long as there is a means to appeal for judicial review, due process is not violated (although, as per the name "due process" certain rights have elevated dues). Judges do not rubber-stamp every minute step in the machine.

Beth Deux would never do a sit in.

Like the kids at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco Texas...

>The recent polls are unambiguous

>a poll with a pool of 100 - 1000 people is a 1:1 representation of all US citizens

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize there was precedent for losing constitutional rights based on being placed on secret lists by unknown persons for unknown reasons, without any method for challenging said listing, my bad.

The ape in the post you replied to is Elijah Cummings.
t. Marylandfag

no due process to be put on the list means they're restricting rights without due process you homosexual

Name one other right that the government can strip away simply by putting you on a list without due process

Indefinite detention without charges is a thing user. So sadly yes, there is precedent.
