exceptional actors bringing comic book characters to life. we will never see this again.

Stewart is oky prof x, but Fassbender is better Magneto

...

>11/10 casting choices
>all super hero characters

hmmmmmmm It really makes you think

...

forgot pic

this

Hey Michael!

Why is JK Simmons so great in everything he does?

Also Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal

JK Simmons is always casted perfectly, dude knows what's good

Obligatory

NOT MY TEMPO

Easiest pre established characters to think of and you wouldn't expect Sup Forums to immediately jump to literary adaptations or biopics

It always seems like he is having an extremely good time. Like the anti-Harrison Ford

Jason Lee as Dave is about as perfect as you can get. His smile is infectious and his AAAAAAAALVIIIIIIIN is perfect. Plays the part well and is even superior to that beta shit from the cartoons.
Underages need not reply.

...

does it really count if they write the part for that actor

Wasn't aware of that
Guess not

He was perfect in this movie.

...

How do they know which pieces are black and white?

His scenes were the only good parts.

Logan will give us one more based Pat as Charles

not exactly a surprising choice but

...

>I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you

I'm sad we'll never get more of this

Sheeeeeiiiiiit

this one is kind of odd because he threatened to move out of Britain because of tax rates

>those pants

really?

all of them are perfectly cast

Kino

He puts a lot of energy in and has fun despite being a working man's actor.

This begs the question; is it really great casting, or the acting which makes the role?

11/10 casting by a casting director would have to be looking at static peronality and fitting it for a role. Most of the roles and actors posted are genuine actors who actually work to fill rolls.

This post really pissed me off. Yes I'm autistic

I was thinking about this too. I tried to post cases where I couldn't imagine anyone else playing the role nearly as well

It's sad to compare the original X-men to what it became with the new cast

I can't see the Evil Dead franchise working without Bruce. Maybe the first movie, as the remake proved, but as a franchise with that character, forget about it.

...

>Come with me if you want to eat.
Woah what the fuck.

I never got this prison, forget metal, whats to stop gandalf from just beating picard over the head, the guys a cripple for fucks sake..

X-Men was always garbage. The films would actually be better if it was just Xavier and Magneto walking around talking about stuff.

Nicholas Hoult is great as Hank, but they don't give him anything to do and the best scenes of him were in DofP when he was essentially Xavier's caretaker.

The fact remains the X-Men films just have garbage scripts. Been this way for 16 years, but it's neat to see StewartMcKellen and McAvoy/Fassbender interact.

>MONEY LAUNDERING? THEY'RE GONNA COME TALK TO ME ABOUT MONEY LAUNDERING? IN WEST BALTIMORE? SHEEEIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Every fucking time

Are you autistic or retarded?

week b8

There's three Evil Deads.

Evil Dead with Ash/Bruce which evolves from eerie horror to straight camp and comedy.
Evil Dead: The Musical which is essentially Evil Dead 2 with Ash but without Bruce and charming musical numbers.
Evil Dead reboot which is horror without Ash.

The "franchise" can work without Bruce but it either has to be completely separate or paying homage to Bruce's rendition. If they tried to reboot Army of Darkness equally as campy and silly but with some other actor playing Duff Johnson, new Evil Dead hero, it'd probs be shit.

I always had a hard time telling Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan apart other than their hair.

Born for it. Same goes for Evans with Cap.

He's some just mute brainwashed bitch boy. What's great about this role at all?

Emma Watson as Belle in Beauty & the Beast.
Can't wait for her as Ciri in Witcher.

I hate fan-casting. And even real casting with her in BatB

Nikolaj Coster Waldau is perfectly casted as Jamie Lannister
Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister

>Bloody Baron
Fuck off with vidya characters.

Anyone could play that role, arguable Captain America's too.

Eva Green - Penny Dreadful

>casting a 5ft tall girl to play Ciri

nah

>Any Geralt casting that isn't Mads

Not even trolling.

Literally anyone else who tried to play this role made the movies shit.

...

...

first thought on seeing this thread

also gylennhaal in Zodiac

>who's that girl there?
>wonder what went wrong so that she had to roam the streets

...

>this still hasn't been posted

/thread

...

Along with Turturro, the little Jewy investigator guy, the NBC execs, and everyone else in this fucking movie. One of my favs.

What a meme actor in retrospect. He got famous in one role and played exactly the same character over and over again.

All of the Adams Family

None of them and black and white.

...

Dude is 10/10 casting every role

Xavier's figures are opaque and Magneto's are transparent.

I got you senpai

The LOTR casting is perfect.

>not tom cruise
no.

it's a superhero movie you retard. Put any other old faggot in those roles and the quality is the same.

fuck even the OC scenes with tywin were great
Dance was just perfect

Him in end of watch with the mexican dude
>still cry when I think about that movie

Holy shit Freddy really was perfectly cast. >never get to see him naked
The real tragedy of his casting.

He was even better cast as the 'asshole from 80s movies' guy in HTTM.

wtf. I'm in love now.

Pretty much every character who was a real person was perfectly cast.

That includes manlet English Al Capone

...

Anne Hathaway as fantine.

The entire movie is 10/10 but Jack's the 11

If only because no one else could play the character

Lots of decent acting in those movies, but he sells the "crusty pirate" role so well somehow
I don't think that series would've been as good without the costumes/makeup though.

check alexa l vogel.
there is definitely a skill in casting the right person.

Timothy Dalton in Hot Fuzz
