As of now, I can finally declare the US county project done after roughly 1 year and 3.5 months. Rice County, Kansas, holds the honor of being the last county to have a flag made for it. I'm glad to say that every county in the United States now has some form of representation - albeit many, many not by official flags. If this highlights anything, it's a need for more flags in the world. More flags, more creativity, and more autism.
I'm also announcing that - finally - I can drop my namefag after this post. I originally began namefagging for 2 reasons:
1.) I was working on an important project to the repository, moving computers quite a bit, didn't always have /flag/, so I felt it useful.
2.) In addition to the above reason, I wanted to stand out and show just how autistic I was.
I think that, with the completion of this project and over 2000 16x11 images of flags, I have definitively proved myself to be a master of the art of autism. I don't lie when I say that this is one of my proudest accomplishments. I'm proud to have shared such a long journey with so many different people around the world who share a common love for flags and autism.
Finally, I dedicate the completion of this project to three special people:
karakalpak (may peace be upon Him) - The TRUE master of autism who I look up to and who taught me how to make flags.
PK - The overlord of the script and repository who kindly passed the torch of power on to me to make this all possible.
Botany Bay user - While he may have been consumed by normalfag-ism, he was instrumental in pushing me to seize the reigns and continue to run /flag/ as a community. He was always a source of encouragement and hope.
And thank you all. I couldn't have done it without all of you. The journey continues.
