ITT: directors traits you like vs the ones you dislike.
I'll start with Terry Malick:

>Like:
Gorgeous contemplative shots
Beautiful cinematography
Spiritual themes
Unusual camera angles
Scenes with barefoot girls

>Dislike:
Love themes
Overuse of narration
Those scenes where two characters are walking on the sidewalk and one is walking ahead of the other, but keeps looking back and smiling or some shit
Scenes with couples doing "cutey" couple things
When two people are side by side, but one is looking one way and the other is looking the other way

I like that you changed it to "gorgeous" from "long" after yesterday's thread. At least you're learning.

>God is up there
I actually teared up a lil bit when she said that, and I don't even belong to a religion. I'm not an atheist, I don't know if God exists and I don't care. But that scene and the whole movie got to me for reasons I'm not sure of.

How hot is Hershlag is the movie?

*in the movie

...

quite, there's a "sex scene" between her and Bale, she's not in it for long though
