Why doesn't Sup Forums embrace democratic socialism? We need to take the power back!

Democratic Socialism is the only form of government which serves the interests of the people and not the billionaires and special interest groups that buy politicians. It is the only system that gives power to the people.

>Democratic Socialism is the only form of government which serves the interests of the people and not the billionaires

Yeah, tell that to the 12 million Brazilians without a job.

That's not real socialism though.

rareflag.

Also, I was totally for Bernie minus some of his economic policies.

"The people" what people? There is no American people.

>We need to take the power back!
>Let's take the power from the rich!
>And give it to the government instead!

This. Only my specific, infallible version of socialism has never been tried.

You know, it's kind of weird having a lack of bernshit plastered all over the place now. Not that I miss that tripe, but it's still taking some getting used to.

And it never gets to real socialism because it's to easy to corrupt.

...

>pol mainly american
>america full of worthless niggers and spics

no thanks, ill keep my own and you keep yours. Libertarianism is the only true way for america. democratic socialism can only """""work"""" in extremely homogeneous societies.

Sup Forums is full of poor fags with no health care that actively vote against their economic interests because fox news convinced them capitalism is good for them instead of the billionaire jews that own the country

They're the goodest of goys basically.

>Why doesn't Sup Forums embrace democratic socialism?
It disincentivises success.

because "revolution" is for edgey faggots.

Adults don't need to revolt. They change the game.

>It disincentivises success.

Is that why Denmark and Norway have greater social mobility than America or Britain?

...

More whites

Canada also has more social mobility than the UK or the US, and we're practically a non-white country.

In US
>rampant and increasing income inequality
> Billionaire basically buy politicans and own the whole government
> Greedy wall street bankers crash the US economy with their greed and fraud and see no consequences.

Unregulated capitalist markets encourage a lot of things besides success.

Because Obama is also a democratically elected socialist, and he's absolute shit

>2006

lets see it a few years post blacking

The "Socialism" you're describing is "the system". People like (((George Soros))) are highly Liberal and so are the other "1%". Taking some of their pocket change and giving it to SWPLs so they can buy video games and coffee isn't going to do anything to the system and it's structure.

Power in the hands of the people is nonsense. "Freedom" in a liberal democracy is nothing more than the nonsense we see in the US.
1) Do whatever you want, fuck the collective

2) Individualism to an extreme extent (the religion of "I")

3) Political ideologies such as Liberalism are allowed to centralize power and become dominate hence multiculturalism, diversity, denial of race and racial differences, etc

Real "Socialism" isn't that Marxist nonsense that's taught in schools.

...

No politician conservative or liberal can be openly against Social Security. Gee, I wonder why.

Exactly.

>Democratic Socialism is the only form of government which serves the interests of the people

If by 'people' you mean 'careerist politician hacks' then yeah, sure.

>That's not real socialism though
excuses excuses

What are you arguing here? That your failed system is viable because it's not as failed as others?

my bad, this was toqueville

sage

Underrated post
Socialism works in smaller countries, and most of the people work. In America we just have a bunch of lazy niggers and millenials who just want free shit at the cost of others.

Communism is an inherently terrible ideology.

Capitalism is also an inherently terrible ideology (state sponsored usury, but albeit, it at least helped improve the quality of life for billions of people whereas Communism killed millions of people)

"Democratic Socialists" are basically the opposite of Bolsheviks. It's a soft form of Communism.

The only real viable systems are the ones people are afraid of (Facism, Aristocracy, etc)

I'm speaking of course within the context of the modern world in a reactionary sense.

Capitalism isn't an ideology faggot.

Tomato - Tamoto

Neo-liberalism is basically what I'm talking about.

"Ideology" - a system of ideas and ideals, especially one that forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Ideologies_of_capitalism

this

Ideas surrounding capitalism, sure. Capitalism itself is merely what we observe. Supply and demand. No dogma to that, just pure human nature.

I should of clarified. Specifically, I was speaking of Neo-Liberalism and how an odd paradigm of what people call "Capitalism" has emerged out of that. When most people bring up "Capitalism" they do so in a conceptual context so I'm used to arguing it in that manner.

You'd be surprised at how little most people know about economics these days. It's staggering.

Yeah its pretty fucking annoying. Capitalism is a bad word to people who don't understand how simple it actually is.

Are there people who cheat others? Yes, but that has nothing to do with capitalism and everything to do with people not playing by the rules.

>Speaking about Brazil
>Thinking anyone cares

That's what you get for not diversifying your assests by sinking everything in oil. Also corruption.

Indeed. People tend to blame "things" rather than simple human nature (people fucking each other, intense greed, etc)

>Democratic Socialism

It's called national socialism fagot!
