Lake and scrubland?

No. It's a fjord

I love scrubland, that picture looks so cozy, I wish I lived in a more desolate area. Scandinavia really has the best collections of biomes

I live in subtropical Philadelphia. Even boggy Finland is better than here

swede calling that a "fjord"

Good scenery but pretty useless

Sven please... Thats a puddle and some hills

The swedes can't afjord it!

nice

Where is it?

He's Sami, not Swede

DELET

Remember when we suggested to trade half of Volvo against half our oil? And you turned it down!

I'd say that now there's norway you can afjord it

cute puddle

Fjording this thread...
..WITH NO SURVIVORS

Sweden is the most skyrim looking place on earth

who the fuck cares

oh shid. is this real?!

Damn...

Sweden is more beautiful than norway

now 100% of volvo is owned by chinese anyway, so it's too late to trade it for anything.

since when swamps are beautiful

...

they better be, since they make up most of our country.

yup. We wanted an in on swedens industry and tried to bargain our oil but they turned it down

...

Sure it is Sven..

i'll rase with this

That's not a fjord what are you smoking

He knows, he's just being ironic.

...

yeah unfortunately. Norway needed time to build up the country again after ww2. Sweden didn't have any country to build so their industry prospered. By sharing some of the oil Norway then hoped to get in return some of the success Volvo Sweden then had, but Volvo thought it was an bad idea.

Thank fucking god for that, thank you fucking god....

Even Swedens nature has been BROWN'D

...

Norwegian nature is superior to ours, but our architecture/buildings are superior to theirs. They barely have anything old and beautiful compared to us and Denmark.

But sure if you like glass mansions, Norway is for you.

like the others said, that's not a fjord.

we do have real fjords, however:
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Fjords_of_Sweden

they don't look nearly as impressive as the norwegian ones, but they are fjords by definition, nontheless. of course, by these definitions, even denmark has fjords.

...

>5 fjords.
>Norway has 1100 +++ fjords.
Really makes you think - that perhaps we've got too many of them. Maybe we need some other types of nature too?

>They barely have anything old and beautiful compared to us and Denmark.

What about stave churches? this one is 900 years old

I really need to go on a long camping trip

hvorfor var jeg ikke fodt i sverige eller norge

We got like 60 or 70 of those. But we have this very old town too. Not really anything impressive, but it's certainly charming.

Did you guys read about this?
theguardian.com/business/2017/jul/05/volvo-cars-electric-hybrid-2019
>All Volvo cars to be electric or hybrid from 2019. Landmark move as first big manufacturer says it will stop making vehicles solely powered by internal combustion engine

I really like norwegian landscapes, but in all honesty, the hipster on the mountaintop ruins that photograph.

rule number one when you photograph landscapes: don't include any people. I don't give a shit about how badass you feel for braving nature or whatever, what I want to see is the landscape itself, not you.

Agreed, I prefer landscape photos without humans in them.

>They barely have anything old and beautiful

we got Bergen city which unsco thinks is muh world heritage.

This is muh world heritage too btw

>that
>a fjord
Why is sweden such a fjordlet country?

danish landscapes have their own charm :^)

Oslo is the a very boring city. Stockholm, population aside. Is very beautiful

SOUTHERN CHILE>>>>norGAY>>>>swedeSHIT

youll never see those sights like on the photos unless you get on a copter or plane, norwegians are scammers obviously

so it's literally norway, but poor.

this is common all over Denmark and Netherland.

why ain't there more suicides in those two countries?

...

It's better than Norway, have you been to Norway? BERGEN IS A SHITHOLE.

360 days of the year, you won't even be able to see that far. Come on.

people are too bored to even kill themselves so they just rot well into old age and then die naturally.

This just looks like one of our 1100 fjords.

Its the Ålesund area so not as shitty weather as Bergen

I live in that town, we have days like that all the time.

Sweden has more lakes than Norway

American fjords>Norwegian

Get out America, come back when your country is old enough.

We have more of them, they just have bigger lakes.

Its true, look at Alaska or Washington state, our fjords are bigger, healthier and more numerous than Norwegian fjords. They look better too. I've been to both kinds and Alaskan fjords water and landscape looks way way better

Show me.

Also, looks like you have more than 1000 less fjords than us.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fjords_of_the_United_States

the shittiest weather in Norway are to be found in Stavanger. The rain + wind combo is unbeatable

where

Jag hatar våra politiker!!! Reeeeee

At least Denmark has mad inventors who kidnap women in homemade submarines.

I wonder if he took her to some secret underwater base on the seafloor.

I love nice fjords no matter where they are, but Washington have a couple of dull """fjords""" but that's it. Alaska have a couple of big and majestic fjords, but nothing that we don't have here in Norway too in way more numbers. 1200 fjords vs 10 or so fjords. Heh...

What is this thing, tell me about it.

norweigans are fucking rude

>We have more of them
Only if you use your subhuman definition of what a lake is. We don't count puddles like you do.

Is this a good fjord?

Look up Peter Madsen. He's all over the news here.

btw it's called gros mourne

Yes it's pretty I think.

Varför ser danskar så fula och oskandinaviska ut?

>t. denmark with trees

youtube.com/watch?v=cNvH1QmmVWE

...

You're so lucky to have penguins.

LMAO
bestwegians is on speed again

Funny fact: Finland is commonly called "the land of the thousand lakes" in the Nordic countries. Obviously there's much more than a thousand, but the point is that Finns see the high number and density of lakes in Finland as a defining characteristic of their landscape, and use it to create their identity.

The funny thing is that while Finland has about 50 000 lakes, Sweden has about 100 000 of them. If we take the areas of each country into account (340k km2 for Finland, 450k km2 for Sweden), we find that Sweden doesn't only have twice the amount of lakes that Finland has, but they're also much more densely distributed than in Finland.

So if anything, Sweden should be the "land of the thousand lakes". Finland doesn't excel at anything.

*CRASH*

And 450 000 lakes in Norway.

are you a Newfoundlander? I've been thinking that it would be a good sightseeing trip on the cheap

Source? And by which definition? When I talked about Swedish and Finnish lakes, the definition was that they had to be bigger than one hectare.

Don't worry, your collective m2 is way larger than ours, only about 400 of our lakes are more than 5000m2

Tell me about the roofs
Why do they wear the grass?

>a puddle is considered a lake in Norge
really makes me think

Sweden has 100,000 lakes larger than 1 hektar (10,000 m^2) compared to Finlands 56,000 lakes

why so obsessed?

is canada nordic now

to keep the heat

He's not photographing the landscape per se
He's taking his profile pic

A lake is a lake, but you're right your lakes are larger.

Nice. You need to start hunting whales too.
