What is it, and would it be better or worse?

Macbeth would have been a lot worse

I don't watch "films"

>What is it, and would it be better or worse?
DOESNT MATTER, BETTER

Basic Instinct. Probably a lot better.

Siege of Jadotsvile (or w.e)

Probably a lot better. That movie was shit, didn't even finish because I stopped caring. Literally every war movie trope you could ever think of

>guy yelling as he shoots massive machine gun
>shell shock ala SPR
>chopper goes down
>running out of supplies
>dud mortar that would've killed a major character
>ingenious mcguyver plan with bombs
>you're on your own!

plus they're Irish so there was an obligatory mention of whisky and drinking every 30 minutes

kill me now

kill yourself

Fearless
It would certainly be interesting and got a real possibility to be 10/10.
I at least doubt it could be worse than the original.

kill yourself

guys, cmon.

WHAT?

Literally impossible for this film to be better, it's perfect as it is.

Tetsuo The Iron Man with more landscape shows I guess?

Roger Cormans Death Race 2050? It would have been a lot less campy and fun, that's for sure.

Hail, Caesar!

same cinematographer, everything else would make it worse. it would loose the Coen's sense of humor

The Master.
Oh dear.

Oh my. It could actually be a good film.

The more I think about it, the more I want to see it.

not a better one

I'm conflicted, it was fine the way it was for what it is but Denis is the auteur of our time so we'll never truly know.

this film direction was perfect, dude

that's why I'm conflicted, Denis could definitely add his own depth and style but the film is fine the way it is.

meh, I think it needed a female sensibility

Shin Godzilla. Less politics, better characters.

Fury Road? I mean, the action scenes would be a lot less technically amazing, but the shots would lol fucking awesome.

He would make anything but art-house better.

He is a great technical director so he would improve anything with poor execution.

That's it.

>The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

No idea, but it would be interesting.

Pale Rider would be more exact.

>The Shining

>probably wouldn't scar Duvall for life
>probably would've included more of Danny's shining
>probably would've showed how Jack gets out of the pantry

> Marketa Lazarova

it would have better sound.
story would be easier to follow.
The fights would be a lot better.
Cinematography would be a lot worse. Characters would be bland.
Overall it would probably a mediocre film.

Haha, my last watched movie is Enemy. Bretty good out of spider masters.

Last TV series Bojack Horseman directed by Denis.. literally the Enemy? I'm in a loop help me.

He did direct the last film I watched. It was Sicario

As someone who's from the West Country, a Sicario-esque dark thriller version of Hot Fuzz would be amazing. I think the only time I've heard the accent in a dramatic or serious context was in the ITV drama about Fred and Rose West, which was pretty good.

Kill-List by Ben Wheatley is the first movie that came to mind, check it.

Oh man I love Kill List, can't believe I didn't think of that it is basically a non comedic, incredibly dark Hot Fuzz. Can you recommend any others like it? Dark shit in rural UK. I've seen Dead Man's Shoes which was pretty great.

Well there's not many "dark shit in rural UK" on the market, maybe check out The Borderlands.

fuck man that's spot on

donnie brasco

would probably be better
