first for being a faggot

ace frehley 2018 album

aer you proud o it/

I don't know, but I'm a proud owner of a Gibson

These knobs are so sexy to me.

This Hantug hardware gives me a stiffy, too bad it's so expensive.

Good. Post pics.

That'll be $265 goyim.

wtf you dont like shitposting in real life?

i want to turdpolish my axe with this aswell.

>$780 for a tremolo.

OY VEY

Danny Gatton had some like that. Said he would scrape his pick across them so it would gouge it and give it a better grip.

pls h8
clyp.it/2eqd32kp

...

Hope you got it for free, user.

^this is you

>Danny Gatton
I like you.

how would i apply two layers of paint to achieve this look?

model? Can't quite read the head there

I did actually. I traded a guit for it
Just a Squier Standard

Can anyone recommend a respectable quality baritone for around $500? Does such a thing even exist? Ive been wanting to try one for an alt/down tuned guitar for a while but want to go all in if I'll hate it.

Light base coat, dark top. Allow each coat to dry completely (one week). Then wear the dark layer through.

this is a spam thread. old one havent reached bump limit yet.

looks good, ain't gonna lie
clip it, I want to hear that sweet squier sound

Stop evading your ban Samuel.

Here's a clip from a month or so back, when I was comparing guitars.

I know I suck, no need to say it

anything clean? I mean, it's a telecaster

Groovy pickguard.

No. I'm not confident enough to record clean. It's twangy though.

>sweet
>squier
this a paki post

How is my playing for someone ~7 months in? I haven't tried using a pick yet. Is it worthwhile? I really love being able to use my thumb.

youtu.be/9KAYO3WhZ4M

What do you faggots use to power your pedals?

I want something with isolated outs, thinking of getting pic related or the Harley Benton Jr. one, cause they're cheap, and appear to get the job done.

Have used the same DC Brick for 16 years.

There are things you can do with a pick that you can't do as well fingerstyle and vice versa.

chink shit

>How is my playing for someone ~7 months in?
Quite good desu. Keep working on it. Here you have a beautiful guitar to encourage you.

Either fix your voice or don't sing at all, m8.

I think a little of the good ol' hantug gives most men a stiffy.

>gold hardware
>beautiful

>Acoustic Guitar Edition

My pair. Delighted with both, particularly the Martin after getting a setup recently. Done anticipate buying any new gear for a while.

I'm quite happy with this.

*Don’t anticipate. Phoneposter with shitty autocorrect.

Yea, I know it's hard to ring the strings out a nicer sound without a pick, unless I use my thumb nail. It's not consistent though.

Thank you.

Yea, working on it.

I know, dear anonio.

The only guitar I've ever seen gold hardware look nice on is a LP Custom tuxedo guitar. It just looks tacky on most guitars.

No, it doesn't >:(

Good thing most of the gold wears off from use.

Post some underrated guitarists

youtube.com/watch?v=RCq8dYN-oT4

But it looks nice. Look this one -->

Eric Orme

Meant for , of course.

Metal guitars are fucking ugly, all of them always every time ugly. Why can’t you just play something tasteful?

Music has that early buckethead vibe, pretty cool.

That Martin looks pretty

>implying this is ugly

Where am I supposed to rest my picking hand?

Just dropped $1500 on this doll. Going to receive it Tuesday.

Thanks, I like the grain and colour of your Taylor, what wood is that?

>this
>ugly

looks like a travel eguitar ala steinberg but is not, someone need to slap that guy in the face.

Should have bought a used MMV (basically a D-28)

It’s mahogony

Nice one user, also not a bad price considering they are over £1600 in the UK. I am sure you will have a lot of fun with it, I love my 00015m.

I don't think I'll listen to enough prog in my lifetime to justify picking that thing up.

That looks pretty gud.

If you cover up the cheesy hardware.

I looked at the MMVs both used and new on GC's website. The used all looked mishandled yet were still going for $1100+ and they didn't come with a case obviously. With this one I get a hard case and a brand new instrument with no sales tax, free shipping, and a free 55-point set up evaluation before they send it out. I don't think I lost on this one.

that martin sounds beautiful just looking at it desu. nice one.

Thanks. I don’t intend to ever play electric so wanted to get an acoustic that would last me for decades with proper care, glad I bought it as I am really starting to hear and feel the benefits as I get better at playing. Also managed to haggle a good price as it was used.

...

We need to go deeper.

...

>I want my guitar to look tacky and outdated within a year like one of those aircraft themed meme cars from fifties

Don't need a pick for cowboy chords.

wassup gg i'm enjoying a cold beer with shitpost and you

this is my bass guitar. i like recording music with it.

why would that be different from just removing the pickguard

Why Jhon Deacon didn't use a Jazz Bass instead of a Precision that have no definition or cut through

Try paying more attention to your singing, you were pretty off pitch at times.

mine is pretty cool

I think it looks better with a 3 ply black pickguard instead of no pickguard

Metal guitars are always tacky though. Dumb shapes, dumb colors. How is something timeless like a tobacco burst les Paul or a tan/black telecaster tacky? It looks appealing and nice, not edgy and gay.

It looks like a wood-paneled station-wagon.

you have good taste sir

ah yeah fancier i think

And those are beautiful

You have me convinced, sir, buying an ugly guitar immediately.

...

You probably don't understand the benefits of "metal guitars". It's just a meme label that is thrown around the guitar community. Any fucking guitar can play "metal".

A lot of them are designed well, are light weight and play really good for all genres.

I agree, some of them are completely retarded looking but that doesn't mean they're bad guitars.

I mean a Jackson Rhoads for example has amazing good fret access, does not neck dive, and is light as fuck and plays very well. This can benefit all of your guitar playing over old designs so I don't see why it matters so much.

...

...

they cant sound like a les paul though.

Seriously, no trem?

Wow, an ugly Charvel. I would never have thunk it.

More practical than a Martin for travel.

...

Nope and that's fine. I play a Rhoads and a Les Paul for different reasons and for different genres. LP fret access isn't nearly as good but it handles certain genres much better than the Rhoads. Both guitars are very versatile, neither is completely better than the other.

So compact in the old case. I think the new cases might be way too big but no specs yet.

Oh, I think that was the Ed Roman case.

What is this, a 12 string for ants?!

The nice thing about having a 30" guitar is that it fits into most shotgun cases pretty easily, you just have to cut the foam.

Much cheaper than guitar cases.

nice tone rug

((((((Steinberger))))))

I’m really struggling to make the jump to fingerstyle. Can anyone recommend any relatively easy fingerstyle songs? Preferably Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, that sort of thing.
