So Honda will provide engines for Toro Rosso next year, and Renault will stop providing for Red Bull in 2019. Are we looking into a scenario where Honda Red Bull is a reality?
Mason Nelson
>we are connected to a different car firm that isn't Porsche or Honda -Horner about 2019 Best guess is Aston Martin then next best guess is anyone

They (Red Bull not just RBR) are connected with Holden (GM) and Ford down here, I'm sure they have connections to Audi and other manufacturers elsewhere. Aston Martin is just the obvious first direct connection, if you go to anyone Red Bull has a connection to I imagine it's almost every big car company out there.
Matthew Bailey
I know Skaifey and Crompo get a lot of shit on here but they really do make the racing a lot more interesting.
If you don't believe me try watching some of the older races from like 20 years ago, fucking borefest.
The production value they put into V8s now is pretty impressive.

pretty sure he has mazda factory backing tho
so red bull has worked or does work with VW (Which includes Audi, Porsche etc), GM (you know the list) Toyota, Ford and currently working with Honda in super formula, plus Aston Martin (which seems like the least feasible option to me)
that opens it up to literally every manufacturer in the fucking world

what happened with the sc in carrera cup? was travelling.
Robert Williams
It really comes down to what Horner meant when he said "we" when talking about the connection. If it's RBR it's Aston Martin, if it's Red Bull it's everyone.
Evan Reyes
Didn't drive fast enough and got caught by the field on lap 1. It had to pull off to the side and let the cars go past at race speed

Was parked then out of the way then called out because if some crashes and everything was fine.

Q: WTF is wrong with Honda?
Toyota just opened up the largest points lead of any engine manufacturer in NASCAR. It's typical to see Toyota engined entries all 1-2-3-4 at the end of a race. With the Dodges, Fords and GMs in the mix.
And I vaguely remember during the 2007 crash that Toyota engined F1 GP cars weren't that slow, that they would periodically be in the top 10 of F1. And in Super GT, Lexus and Nissan owns Honda. twitter.com/search?q=Toyota NASCAR&src=typd
Juan Hill
Should just call the series V8 Superkiwis honestly.
Because the non whites down these areas are useless. When the first Europeans came down here with large ships, cannons and I think type writers were around those days, they lived in huts killing each other with sticks.
Adam Garcia
Honda is used to work with a concept until the rules change and they have to make another (so far they have made 3 different MotoGP bikes since 2002) in F1 on the other hand they have had to make a new engine almost twice a year, so they haven't had time to fully develop their concepts
also that's why they have good results in indycar, they've been using the same engine concept since 2012, and gradually they have worked to make it better
at least that's my theory
remember that Toyota didn't make it to the podium until 2005, and just in 2009 they started to be real contenders, sadly they left before we could see how good was the TF110
