His magnum opus was Late Registration.
The only album of his I flat out hate is 808s because it bored the shit out of me.
Everything after MBDTF has been a mixed bag.

No it isn't. It was repetitive as all hell and I hated most of the synthesizers. I didn't get the tribal drums at times either.
Only tracks I enjoyed were Paranoid and Robocop.
