Samuel's good when he detaches himself from the gender politic baits. Better than anyone that ever posted in these threads anyways.
I think the same way about Sally Jane Black
...
I was watching la piel que habito yesterday but fell asleep
Are all almodovar films this quirky ?
holy....
It's an inherent part of it. It itself would deny that there's the possibility of any detachment.
dishonest filmmaking is a dishonest critique
>quick let me sign out to take this screencap
Yes, obviously. Hope it dies after February ends
Watched Lady Snowblood 2 last night. I get why people prefer the first one to the sequel, the political sotryline can get a little cumbersome and heavy handed. All the fight scenes with the police were pure kino
Those foot shots during the sex scene tho... Did Tarantino take all direction from these films
Tarantino doesn't direct movies, he only does patchworks or collages
I really should get around to watching the first one, it's been on my "list" for a while now.
>omg this is really good, i really liked it, seriously you have no idea how much i liked it may be one of my favorites
is there a more dishonest reviewer
>Whole movie is about how she can't kill somebody because something bad would happen
>In the end she just kills him anyway
Does it make more sense than I remember?
It's just another forced meme.
>Only watched one 10/10 movie
>I'd already seen it
Nah you got it. As the whole it was fairly non-sensical and directionless, but the films are just so pretty to watch, the colors pop so hard

OLD THREAD:
I've been watching some flicks lately
Post your profile?
>half star to Assassin's Creed
confirmed shit taste
into the trash with you
I hated every fucking minute, choreography and cinematography were decent. Everything else is shit
video game flicks are even lower than capeshit flicks
reconsider your life choices
>categorizing films with no stylistic similarities based entirely on their source material
sad!
too bad it cuts every single second to something else so even the good points are hardly seen.

Don't bully.
Started the year off strong, watched 8 films in the first 4 days of the year and I haven't watched a thing since.
>defending videoshit and capeshit.
can't be non other than vulgar auteur idiots.
Which film by Alain Robbe-Grillet should I watch tonight?
Trans-Europ Express
link gorro likes to touch little girls
Yeah? That does look promising and I love films about filmmaking. L'immortalle looks good as well, but I'll take your suggestion.
Many such cases
t. 'bryo

A Confucian Confusion, possibly.
Inland Empire. Maybe The Stranger but I'm ready to get out of early Welles and move to Touch of Evil and after

trying to get through a bunch of cheap blu-rays I bought recently
downloaded camrip of lalaland and rewatched it because it's so good
Are you stupid? That didn't work last time and you just repost it
>the American
good taste, wish more of action-y stuff was contemplative like it was.
Yah, and I really liked Clooney's nervy, paranoid take on the lone hitman archetype
Reminder that nobody has a better most watched Actor + Director in 2016 combo than John Saxon and Alan Clarke
Ronald has a mind of delusions
Yes
Sup Mondale
It reminded you of your honeymoon videos.
