You weren't watching the fight right?

Landing weak jabs and pressuring someone in the ropes =/= winning. You need to show you're damaging the opponent more. Taking specific hits and counter punching is a real strategy and Canelo looked unfazed most of the game and landed more powerful punches.

Golovkin landed more shots than Canelo in his face.

Look at the stats fatty.

He did, but they were weak jabs.

Canelo hit more power punches. Playing for points with weak blows is cowardly and doesn't mean you won.

>118-110

>being a spic

I mean it's fine if you think Canelo won but 118-110? who the fuck are you kidding with shit like that?

>You need to show you're damaging the opponent more.

Golovkin literally walked through everything Canelo hit him with.

>nfl and cfb in full swing
>posting about boxing
shiggy fucking diggy

But you could tell the punches effected him more. Canelo got hit more, by weaker punches, and still landed more powerful punches throughout the match, even in the final stretches when you could tell he was more tired. GGG has the stamina and will power but he was getting hurt more. Add more round and I can guarantee Canelo would've won by TKO after two more counter punches, especially those uppercuts.

I'm a fatty and its clear canelo was tired and not ready to deal with the pace that GGG put in for the fight. He had his moments with counters but you talk about showing you're damaging your opponent, every effective blow Canelo gave GGG, GGG absorbed it, and had a clear focused killer look in his eyes. Canelo didn't hurt GGG just as much as GGG not getting in an absolute bomb. At that point it comes to who did the more work, who was the aggressor, who had the ring generalship, and that was GGG with the jab work, backing him up, and laying it on him when Canelo looked like he wanted a break for those middle rounds. GGG took this one.

Nobody thinks it was 118-110
that's the outrage.

>Add more round and I can guarantee Canelo would've won by TKO after two more counter punches,

Bullshit. I don't think Canelo was seriously hurt by anything GGG threw either, though. All things equal there, GGG was the clear aggressor for 90% of the fight and deserved to squeak it on points.

Punch stats had Canelo barely inching more Power shots landing than GGG I'd hardly call that anything worth betting on the fight. He didn't bother GGG at all, walked through them, still had that killer drive and focus in his eyes, nothing wobbled him, nothing really marked his face up like the Brooks fight, and that was when he was letting Brooks Tee off and he still went right through those.

Cowardly? He knew Canelo would counter him all night if he got too aggressive. I do think he should have taken more of a risk and throw more body punches, but playing for points is a legit strategy, like it or not. Weak jabs or not, he kept cornering Canelo all night and did enough to win.

114-114

Exactly, I think thats where the Amateur experience really comes in that he has over Canelo, everybody wasn't giving GGG enough credit anyways, saying he was not looking good in the Brooks fight or the Jacobs fight, he even said it himself that he didn't care about the Brooks fight that he wanted a street fight and he gave him one, Jacobs was different I think Golovkin got bored at first cause the first few rounds Jacobs didn't show anything like he did in the later half and at that point Golovkin had to round himself back up and win on points. Here he came in clear that he was gonna focus the entire time, bring the aggression but nothing stupid, he knew Canelo was dangerous, respected it, and won with his tool sets. If GGG backed Canelo up, cornered him, out landed him, and tired him out so bad by only going to the head practically and taking half of the opponents target away while Canelo did everything he could to him, I think that speak for itself.

>Only landed 4 more power shots.

Watching actual film Canelo's shots were much clean, powerful, with full force. GGG more glancing, at least to the face. Canelo clearly had more powerful body shots.
You're lost in the numbers when you should've watched the games. % is also a good indicator.

I mean that's too be expected considering that Golovkin was the aggressor the whole fight and Canelo was trying to counter punch. but regardless, canelo's shots weren't as clean as you think considering they did nothing to stop GGG. Also, I did watch the fight and I saw GGG completely dominate in the middle rounds.

Floyd would beat both of em

>I don't think Canelo was seriously hurt by anything GGG threw either

Then why was Canelo backpedaling?

>Canelo's "babbies first attempt at footwork" strategy literally took him to a draw against GGG even when GGG didn't respect his power and Canelo heavily gassing
>You now realise that Floyd would have 12-0'd the fuck out of Lil G

ALL WORK IS WHAT

both are faggots as they didnt finish the job. woman spec boxing. i lol'ed

so will based floyd fight either of these scrubs?

Boxing has always been one of the dirtiest sports

Why did Canelo run the whole fight then? If he was the one landing bombs and ggg's punches didn't hurt, he would have stood his ground.

they really need to finish building that wall fast don't they.
