Post them.
Medieval Kinos
Macbeth is plebeian as fuck though
Braveheart and Kingdom of Heaven should probably be top of the list if you haven't seen them.
Seventh Seal was boring.
I watch braveheart atleast once a year and kingdom of heaven too. Looking at the list now thank you.
Knights tale is kinda kino but doesn't feel too medieval
only your """opinion""" about it is plebian
It was pretty good I still prefer Polanski's
Nunn>Kurosawa>Fass>Polanski
Welles > all of those
Shit.
Put it between Fass and Polanski. Btw that's how you do a diversity thing: move it entirely.
As a history fan ironclad and kingdom of heaven are the only two I really like.
I need to rewatch the name of the rose, i saw it as a kid and liked it but it was a little over my head.
The Name of the Rose is my favorite. You could also try Flesh and Blood. The Czechs have also made some nice stuff like kladivo na carodejnice (pic related) and marketa lazarova.
Oh my god, this list is absolute shit. We need to turn the european medieval era into an artistic aesthetic like medieval japan or the wild west. Only then we will get some proper kino.
