>1984
>"redpilled"

Sup Forums is an authoritarian board, freedom of any kind is degenerate the individual doesn't know what's good for him

It's funny. I always thought it'd be the right to instill this kinda of government, but we can see the left already putting this in motion.

This, I think PUA's are fags though. I read it a long time ago, I think it was a good read and an eye opener

Why's 1984 not redpilled?

Brave New World

The only way for freedom to be taken away in an age where information is readily available is to convince people to give it away.

All the problems we face are temporary, but the solutions we make are permanent

>>"redpilled"

This is damn near the ultimate red pill.

>candana
>not knowing how to greentext

George Orwell was socialist scum, not redpilled in the slightest

No, you tell them you're doing it for their protection or progression

t. Teenager

Because mass surveillance, less freedom and authoritarianism are good for the individual. A considerable amount of Sup Forums users agree that fascism is god tier , therefore 1984's rendition of these values isn't redpilled in the slightest.

>the individual doesn't know what's good for him
Yeah, so do like the god emperor says and build the fucking wall pablo.

OK holy leaf that doesn't even know how to greentext, tell me what Sup Forums is about

The actual ultimate redpill

Orwell is good, but huxley is better.

Good picks, no book is as red-pilled as this one tho, some serious multi-layered mindfuck. Had a great time reading it, almost everything by stanislaw lem is pure gold.

>Sup Forums is an authoritarian board

so, why are we for a Brexit?

We all know this is the ultimate redpill.

Why Nations Fall - Acemoglu

Is that a metaphor for a homosexual planet?

Left = 1984 (eg: what we see today with manipulation of information by the left in terms of refugees)
Right = BNW (eg: american culture)

Right?

Orwell's Homage To Catalonia, Animal Farm and 1984 are pol required reading. English speakers cannot discuss politics at all without Orwellian terminology and concepts. While a Trotskyite, Orwell was early and uniquely articulate in rejecting Stalin (something Sartre stumbled over) and all totalitarianism. Orwell's articulation of linguistic clarity as a prerequisite for morality is the red pill itself. It slays Marx, whose real innovation was to spend hours at the British Library learning to cleverly paraphrase things, and anticipates Stephen Coughlin's masterful vivisection of abrogation, taqiyya and dawa by the Ikhwan in "Catastrophic Failure."

THIS!
Preprogramed societies are the only thing that could work. 1984 is a do NOT do this manual.
BNW is a do this instead. As much as i support fredon of thinking i can not deny that a society programed to work like in BNW is the best way for humanity. Although scientifical approach should be heavily favored for the top alphas not shuned. Science is not a worthy sacrifice.

>a 1973 French apocalyptic novel by Jean Raspail. The novel depicts a setting wherein Third World mass immigration to France and the West leads to the destruction of Western civilization
Holy fuck.

Wrong. The globalists use both paradigms simultaneously as a carrot and stick.

t. Mexican intellectuals

>and people still buy nostradamuses crap.
They want it closer to 1984 than BNW. In BNW eceryone is happy and well fed. In 1984 a shit ton of people live in poverty and they are cosntantly under terror. BNW is sadly the only options humans have while 1984 is a catastrophe waiting to happen.

this.

I've read it. It is good in some way, it shows leftist that what they belive is actually some kind of religon, but the main problem with stirner is "Me, ego". All the book is about to reject spooks, but if you can't do it. How can someone say if their decision if dicated by himself or by the spooks? You may think that you're above spooks, that you choose to love someone or to with against something, you think that those are YOUR ideas, not spooks. But in reality you can notice the truth. Stirner "edo man" just doesn't exist.

Yes. Find it and read it immediately, Raspail predicts everything in the migrant crisis down to how specific actors respond and why. It has a great, chilling scene in which an SJW goes to meet a herd of "refugees" after having advocated for their movement to Europe, and they just trample him to death.

Not just one of them was right/wrong, they both had good points, but none perfect. Or near perfect.

...

>Orwell's Homage To Catalonia
Shit book that explains horribly the conflict.

>translator Norman Shapiro
>normie
>ben shapiro
meme magic is too real folks

Journey To The End Of The Night by Celine is redpilled as fuck.

Brave new world is actually a way more actual prediction than 1984.It is extremely accuarate describing our current situation

Yes and no. They want control. They want control any way they can get it. They are not monolithic (see Springmeier) and so at various times there are disputes as to the best way to proceed. Different methods look more effective at different times. But we must not dismiss one or the other model because both are relevant and both are in effect. Pop culture and big pharma are there to keep you happily brainless, but if you get thoughtful, there's always Homeland Security and the Chicago Black Site. It's both at the same time, they are carrot and stick.

READING LIST FOR THIS SUMMER:
>The Economit and Foreing Affairs (magazines)
>Basic Economics, Thomas Sowell
>Meditations, Marcus Aurelius
>The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Edward Gibbon
>Bible, new testament

re-read
>the old man and the sea, Ernest Hemingway

While Huxley was ultimately right concerning the masses, Orwell too was correct concerning the minority. Most people can be easily soothed into captivity by TV and information overload, but a minority resist it, and for those the government is using Orwellian tactics like censorship and suppression of key information.

But only Huxley's conclusion was correct, people are controlled through pleasure. Big brother is watching, but no one takes the time to notice.

...

Yes, very nice, it includes invaluable characterizations of leftists, and the Cabin Boy Parable, which most elegantly explains the liberal identity politics strategy ("Would racism end if we held banks accountable?"). However be aware that his grasp of history is weak, and of course the whole bombing thing was pretty dumb.

The most significant piece of literature anyone needs to read to understand the state of the world today

The dispossessed majority by wilmot Robertson is a must read

bible.
Get the fuck out of here. That is the bmost blue pilled of books i have ever seen.
>implying people didnt vote brexit cause of bitch getting killed
>implying rednecks aren t fuck the muslims cause american gouvernent is inventing fake threats in the outside world.
>implying europe is not a divide and conquere strategy.
Both of the happen at the same time. Only thing that is bad is that the orwelian methodology is winning over consumerism. Its offensive its old speak its not good cnesore and kill.
Orwell kinda had the branless masses in the proles. Some one pointed it out well. Orwell for the smarter people huxley for the masses.

youtube.com/watch?v=GVAUnKK1DdQ Runaway Horses by Yukio Mishima & Camp of the saints.

If he didn't bomb anyone you would never have uttered the name ted kacynski

Reflexions about the french revolution by Burke
It really explains how and why movements fail or become very bloody

>math is only true if it is unprovable
>therefore Jews are the masterrace
that's literally the entire book

Danke Kamerad, came here to post this

I just bought:
1984
Brave new world
Animal Farm
Cather in the rye

I'm happy

The most valuable thing in his book in my opinion is what he says about the freedom restricting nature of technological progress and how it shapes society, while the opposite should be true. Although I gotta say, it demoralized me a lot.
And the bombing were of course necessary for spreading the manifesto, he says it himself - and as said, it worked.

Boring as fuck desu

Do you think they will make a TRUE "bluepill" in the coming decades for us? Something more meaningful and mind numbing effective than xanax or fluoride, a pill that makes Redpilled folks blissfully unaware again, that plugs us back into the matrix?

It seems to me at this point if my options are; A) be redpilled and watch the world turn to shit around you and be powerless to stop it, or B) take the pill and be stupid and happy as the world falls apart...that it's better to take option B and smile as the world burns.

(((Goldtstein))

I guess you never read it.

Huckleberry Finn

Boring as hell and stupid. If anyone want to know this book, just read the chapter with john galt speech.

Any of the Flashman books.

All of Evola. Good start.

Care to provide a summary?

The Nicomachean Ethics

THE WARNNGS HAVE YET AGAIN GONE UNHEEDED

Weininger argues why equal rights for women were a mistake. In doing so, along the way he also explains and totally destroys feminism, nu-males, LGBT nonsense and judaism.

Homer's Odyssey

why the new testament is bluepilled?

...

Camp of the Saints.

>what is soma? :)
Probably they will make a mega form of adderal or xanax with little health impact and super halucinogenic properties. They will 100%

Harrison Bergeron

Red-pilled

>Sup Forums is one person

I believe much more in a moderated nationalist government, such as the one iceland has

This book is really hard to find :(

bookzz.org/book/2556640/6e61c5

Cheers from Somerset, lad.

Hope you're having a comfy evening.

>Sup Forums is one person

No better pleb filter. Prefer fountainhead though

I have this on my shelf in my reading queue, what do you think Sup Forums?

This. Although, I did like how she fleshed out cronyism with the labor unions and government. Everyday I see it played out on the world stage.

cheers lad, enjoy the book, I haven't read it but sounds interesting

I'm really glad my highschool English teacher had us read things like animal farm, 1984, slaughterhouse five and such.

Anyone here read Anthem?

I liked it very much. Good humanization of Germans.

Step aside gayboiz

>be democratic socialist
>writes book about communism being bad

>inb4 not muh socilism

Excellent choice.

I always recommend Aristotle's Organon.

in b4 some jew gets butthurt over Aristotle.

Nice. been looking forward to reading it. By chance have you read pic related? Also Life and Death in Shanghai? Seem to be in the same vein.

This image pretends like Orwell made sweeping statements about what the future would look like. 1984 was based on his experiences with the Communists in the Spanish Civil War and the restrictive, espionage and authoritarian atmosphere around Barcelona at the time. So it's a critique of totalitarian leftist governments not a prediction of the future like this image makes it out to be.

Holy fuck this book.

...

I can tell from this reading list that you are a virgin.

>people are controlled by inflicting pain

What? The two minutes hate broadcasts are deliberately noisy and boisterous affairs so that the public associates their negative feelings with the image being portrayed. Not whatever the fuck that image means right there.

>In short, orwell feared that what we hate will ruin us

Fucking hell I'm not even sure this if guy read any Orwell

added to my list, thanks anons.

posting books on the shelf I'm getting to wondering what Sup Forums thinks of them. Pic related. This one is on deck.

Nice! Thanks Dude

Sorry fucked up.

Is this sophomore year in highschool again?
