Ladies & Gentlemen is one of the few albums I could argue as literally GOAT.
Ambitious compositions, outstanding, lush instrumentation, and intensely personal writing. It's sound is too personal and earnest to be Prog rock, but far to large and grand to be Britpop, and too gorgeous and ornate to be shoegaxr.
It's just fucking brilliant.
