War > Joshua Tree > Boy
Top 3

Perhaps their best, but that really doesn't mean shit.

>le early U2 is bad maymay xD
Not an argument.

>brb getting my delay pedal
What a joke.

You forgot The Unforgettable Fire, ironically

Better to stick around to Swans friendo.

Hey look, it's half of their good albums!

He should be a real guitarist like Jim morrison.

Nah, The Unforgettable Fire is actually their best

The guitar on this album sounds hardly anything like other U2 albums

>u2 albums
No thanks. thanks thanks thanks

Man this is a good album, haven't listened to it in a long time.
But boy oh boy did U2 turn to shit....

they didn't even get interesting until the 90s

Nice try. But at least I don't listen to U2.

Why is it so difficult for you to fathom that a band now terrible and associated with the worst of corporate radio rock was once the exact opposite? Just because it happened before your lifetime doesn't mean it never happened at all.

The cognitive dissonance among elitist music fans. The kind of people who go "U2 was never post-punk" too...

I bet you like green day and Allison Chainz.

Not really. I liked one Green Day song back when it first came out ("When I Come Around") but really haven't cared for them since. Also "Allison Chainz"? Really?

Sorry, I'm being an asshole. I will admit, I have never listened to any U2

So how would you know?

Like I'll be the first to admit they sold out BIG TIME along the way, but early in their career, they were one of the more important wider post-punk/college rock/alternative era bands.

their only album I can listen in full is Zooropa

80s U2 is objectively god-tier, everything else is fucking trash

The entire album is just fucking fantastic, some of the best post-punk they have.
