And no, they weren't. Sure, they weren't something that strived for being something more than high production grindhouse schlock, but that doesn't mean they were bad. IB's bar scene is more than enough proof to realize that he still has what it takes, hell, H8 was packed with damn good scenes, especially the first half. The problem with Tarantula is that he doesn't want to make something great like he showed with RD, Jackie and Pulp, but hopefully, his 2 films will be something more than mere action flicks.
