>not clicking the first time you heard the opening bars

shame

It is good, glad you see the light OP
tangentially related, what's the best pressing of this album? I want to own this on vinyl but there's a million and a half pressings and I'm not sure which one to go for

dOn'T fUcK wItH tHe FoRmUlA bRiAn

Go for the original. It's the one that won over so many people so it must be good enough.

Good, yes

Beest album ever? No

seriously.

this. the album should have "clicked" on first listen.

I used to only be an early Beach Boys fan when I was a kid and hated it because it didn't sound like Surfer Girl or All Summer Long, blamed it for them getting bad etc. I think it took about 8 or 9 tries and it's been my all-time favorite ever since.

lsd can make music click my man u should try it

>he needs fucking pop music to """click"""
The absolute state of Sup Forums.

Wow one of the greatest albums ever made is pretty good

>wouldn't it be nice is god tier
>you still believe in me is lame
>turn it off and decide to give it a real listen later
>return a couple years later and absolutely love every second
this is how it went for me, I would think it's not that unusual

The Capitol "green label" pressing from the 80's is probably the one most commonly recommended on audiophile forums. There's also a recent pressing from Analogue Productions that's supposed to be very good- I have the SACD version of that and like it.

acid and Smile go good together

>entry level bubblegum pop has to "click"
LMAO alright faget, time for the big leagues

Literally got the Analogue Productions mono pressing in yesterday, big improvement over the other mono issues. Great packaging, great pressing and great mastering. I assume the stereo issue is just as good.

imagine how music would be if the beach boys took the beatles place

All the songs would sound the same.

imagine how the beach boys would be if music didnt exist at all

Whats the best song and why is it "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times" followed by "Still Believe in Me" ?

Smiley smile is better then the complete version. Yeah, I said it.

sometimes i feel very sad

>the boys grew older, but the beach is still the same

music for this feel?

Don't Talk nigger
