Kek pretentious garbage
Not this
Reddit
Ethan Hawke and his shitty brother brought the whole movie down

I suggest OP to watch Let me in and Interview with the Vampire for true vamp kino

>Let me in and Interview with the Vampire for true vamp kino
Good suggestions, except you named the remake and not the original Let The Right One In.

The Hunger

Let the right one in falls under pretentious garbage clause. Also young Chole beats out that boy they cast in Let the right one in

>nobody mentions Coppola's Dracula
Bad form, Sup Forums.

just play VtmB instead

Is the blade sequel any good? I'm planning to watch some dark urban horror/thrillers tonight

Queen of the damned is true numetal vampire kino

>Let the right one in falls under pretentious garbage clause.
Nah, you're just stuffed with American fast food shit. The movie isn't even pretentious, just slow and low-key. And you're an idiot.

...

Has anyone seen it yet?

Dracula is a shitty movie user

Some good
>Fright Night
>The forsaken
>Irma Vep
>Salem's Lot
>Vamp
>Near Dark
>The Lost boys
>Vampyr
>Only lovers left alive

Why are vampires so sexy? Are there any somewhat-classical-style works focussed on female vampires?

All of those are hot garbage, though.

Female (sometimes lesbian) vamp movies:

Lemora
The Hunger
Byzantium
The Vampire Lovers/Lust for the Vampire/Twins of Evil/Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter
The Moth Diaries
Daughter of Darkness (1990 tv movie by Stuart Gordon)
Lemora (worth mentioning twice)
A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night
Vampyros Lesbos (the Twin Peaks of vampire movies)

>Dracula
>Catholic-style crucifix
Into the trash it goes

Dracula's Daughter (fucking good)
The Karnstein Trilogy (trashy but fun in a Hammer Horror way)

and Blood and Roses. It's a great movie based loosely on Carmilla.

Thanks.

also Lemora, like I said in my other post. It has the look of classical vampires even if it's set in the present of the 70s.

Vampires Suck

It's a special kind of bad.

yall niggas dont even know

That was really bad.

Some Kino Vampcomedies are:
Vamp U
Blood&Donuts

>not posting the best vampire kino ever made

and Once Bitten with a young Jim Carrey

fuck, I forgot that movie in my posts. Good catch, nigga. One of the good parodies.

Vamp

>shitting on based Hawke

Grow up!

>Let the right one in falls under pretentious garbage clause

What? If you call that pretentious, I wonder what you call actually pretentious movies.

No mention of Fearless Vampire Killers? Wtf

Good choice. Underated sewers, Grace Jones&arrows kino.

The reporter scene scared the shit out of me as a tween.

>Let the right one in falls under pretentious garbage clause

Not him, but Let (both of them and the book) were just Claudia as a rescue-fu self-insert fanfiction. The only thing missing was a Lestat cameo.

...

Legit my favourite film of the decade.

>Let me in

ahahahahaha
oh wow

I had high hopes for that one but ended up not liking it. I just felt the tone of it was very far from horror, even though it's labeled as a horror film. Same thing can be said about Thirst. I want scary vampire films.

>Let me in
>not Let the Right One In

What we do in the dark or whatever it's called

mockumentary kino, had me laughing out loud

Byzantium is Kino.

seconding this

vampire + comfy kino.
Perfect for reddit weather

>reddit weather
That meme took off quickly

I am telling you right now dude watch STAKE LAND like asap its one of the best and coolest vamp/survival horror movies ever made but maybe avoid the sequel

only lovers left alive is amazing

Underrated tbhfam. Have to give it a rewatch.
There's also Extinction but I don't think that counts as vampires but it was pretty similar to Stake Land.

I seriously hope so

stake land is great honestly watch it now

Extinction is also great OP needs to add this to his watch list as well. Have you seen the sequel to stake land m8? how out of nowhere was that stupid redneck gay kiss scene they just had to go there

K I N O

O

Is this actually worth watching? I love Jeffrey Donovan since Burn Notice and Sicario, and Fox since I saw him in Bone Tomahawk. But this just looks like direct-to-DVD schlock.

I really like Dracula 2000 but its trashy as fuck, m8.

SHE WILL BECOME ONE HERSELLLLFFFF

what went wrong

How could you possibly think it could have gone right?

Watch the French film Female Vampire. It's VERY focused on female vampires, and is actual kino.

Pic related is one of my favorites.

Thirst and He Never Died

>Jeffrey Donovan

Yes its honestly worth a watch and is better quality than you think. give it a go you should enjoy it if you like these types of movies

?
Do you mean the Jess Franco Female Vampire aka The Bare-Breast Countessa? It's great, but not really Kino.

Vampyros Lesbos
youtube.com/watch?v=bg-HMdpRpFs

Read that in grammar school. Smashing good read. Loved every second.

Let me in and Let the right one in are both equal imo.

Near Dark is pure kino
Once bitten is good garbage to watch on a mindless day.
Bordello of Blood has Dennis Miller and some good looking vamps.
Dracula Dead n Loving it is art.

Yes that's the one. It has great cinematography imo.

Le Pure Vampiro Kinographia Pack:
>Fright Night (1985)
>Fright Night Part 2 (1988)
>Dracula (1992)
>Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994)

It's not great, but it's more fun than the first and 100x better than the last one. Can't comment on the tv show I haven't seen it. And the anime sucked. Almost as bad as the Supernatural anime

This motherfuckers

...

The previews look alright. I'm not watching any more cam rips though. Learned my lesson the last time

Based Dreyer.

scared the hell out of me

mexican vampire kino is:
cronos
blade 2

Yes, don't get fooled by the low IMDB score. It was really enjoyable and had great suspense and mood.

Did any of those flicks go right? The target auidence is 8 year olds.

None of those lived up to my hopes. Thirst is much better than He Never Died though.

Fuck off!

Don't forget, 8 year olds from 2003.

I have no clue why the series still exists.

thats the scariest thing i've ever seen on film

the only thing that went right in any of the movies is Kate Beckinsale in latex

i wish he never died gave more back story for the mc it only really started to come out towards the end

No From Dusk Til Dawn?

I tried to watch the first one. Felt like some bad video game adaptation rather than a movie.

LMI is the superior film.

The original is still pretty good tho.

> Thread about vampire kino
> Not a single mention of Buffy

really Sup Forums?

The original movie maybe. If you're in for a laugh. The show was barely about vampires.

No it isn't. It's a watered down version of the original. The original came pretty close to the book.
