What are you watching today?

so Sup Forums?

decided it's finally time to watch this.

Taboo episode 2
Series of Unfortunate Events

Forgot about that getting put on Netflix yesterday. Have you seen any of it yet? Looks promising.

I just saw Black Swan last month. Better than I expected tbqh.

Good choice

I'm watching A Series of Unfortunate Events

Nope, going through Peaky Blinders but taking a break waiting for Taboo to air.

How is it so far? I'll probably check it out later tonight, I haven't watched any of the Netflix originals yet.

Just finished episode 2. The show is funny and entertaining enough to get pass some of the cgi they use. Though they use a lot of sets that is aesthetically pleasing to watch. Also Malina A cute.

Loved this - for a Malick film, it's quickly-paced.

I worked at a video rental store over the summer and people absolutely loved it. Still haven't seen it, but I see it loved on here a lot so I think I have to watch it.

Malick is very hit/miss for me, but this one works very well.

Is there any good Korean sitcom miniseries?

Don't need something that goes on forever, prefer something that's only meant to run for 1 season and is finished by the end.

I might watch this

A friend of mine told me it's shit but he's one of those people you don't take movie advice from.

I watched 15 minutes of Superstar K - granted, a talent show - and realized that I'll stick with the torture porn that Koreans are so good at.

It's shit.

t. patrician who you should take movie advice from

Inception is Nolan's last good film, probably his best

the first half is pretty good desu. it just drags on for far too long and turns into a trope-filled piece of shit.

you shouldn't take movie advice from Sup Forums either. it's a great movie enjoy yourself.

I can't find any good movies anymore to download

Watched Star Trek Beyond. It was okay, better than the two before it.

Bought a bunch of cheap horror blu-rays on Friday so going to stick Frogs in once my pizza gets here.

I just got done watching "The house of fog and sand" with Ben Kingsley.

I can't tell if I hate the movie. Its pretty fucking depressing. The cop character fucking ruins everything and the main girl is so fucking incompetent.

What is your criticism of it?

My friend's problem with it was basically "lol that's not how black holes work". We sometimes like to pretend our knowledge of astrophysics and shit is something more than "utterly basic and probably not entirely accurate", and around that time we used to talk a lot about black holes and stuff like that. He came back from the theater and said nothing about the characters or the plot or the themes or anything, he only mentioned the black hole.

This masterpiece

check 'em

hahahahaha what a pleb. It's just a dumb big budget sci-fi. I personally though the ""character development"" was laugbable, and there were no real emotional moments. I also hated all the actors, especially matt damon and that little girl, but mcconaughey was fine. Some cool scenes in space I guess, even those didn't really look good for the budget in my (honest) opinion family. Maybe you're supposed to watch it in the cinemas (watched it on my tv) but I hated it.

Watched Philosopher's Stone last night for the first time because of all the fucking dullest franchise posts and influence from Sup Forums. Honestly, was a really fun movie. Being told that it gets progressively worse and less self-aware as the series goes on is a little demotivating to go through the rest but maybe when I have enough time someday.

Watched the fountain last night

Much better than black swan. I love tchaikovsky tho

I'll get around to watching these at some point today if I can manage to get off Sup Forums.

Don't even bother desu its cliche shit
Stop listening to autists on Sup Forums the tone and atmosphere changed because the story changes for harry. Only literal autists think the first is the only good one. From there.on they only get better. 4 is the worst. 3 5 6 7 the best

don't believe a word anyone says who spergs, I just saw them all for the first time recently and loved them. They're seriously good.

yeah it's gay, but since you're a homo fag you'd love it.

I'll check it out. I just finished Black Swan, it was pretty good. I really enjoyed how they chose to represent Nina's anxiety and how they used Lily as sort of a catalyst for Nina to find herself and complete her transformation.

Try not to fap yourself to death.

Also just got done rewatching Fury Road.

>hahahahaha what a pleb
Exactly. I love the guy but you just can't talk about movies with him because of stuff like this.

True story: I must be faceblind to some degree, because when I first watched this I couldn't really distinguish Portman and Kunis. This made her descent into hallucinations very confusing, because I didn't even realise what was going on until far later than I was supposed to.

You might be autistic, m8. Poor facial recognition is a telltale sign.

Have you seen other aronofsky? If you havenr seen Pi or Noah they like the Fountain are great

Yea it was well thought out

>I couldn't really distinguish Portman and Kunis

I'm sorry user, but that's pretty bad. Knightley and Hershlag are said to look like siblings and even then I can tell the difference between the two.

I'll be honest, it did freak me out a bit once I realised. I don't struggle with people I actually know. It seems to happen with female celebrities in particular, and it happens less often now (I was 16 in 2010).

No, this was my first from him. I'll put these all on my backlog, thanks a lot.
