i was expecting some vaporwave nonsense but hoLY HELL MAN THIS IS AWESOME. Really cool bass, the pad/synthwork is so lush. like in a good way, not a meme-y way. i hate rap so much and quadlzrr is one of my favorite songs on soundcloud. Thats how good jakobe is. drums are super funky and punchy, vocals are amazing.
Another one of these threads? I hate copypasting, but fuck all that typing. I'm Currently covering The Wall in its entirety. I'm playing nearly every instrument on every track, but I'm shite at classical guitar. Got stuck on Goodbye Blue Sky and Is There Anybody Out There. So I outsourced the classical parts to a super talented lady from Italy.
I just got done implementing her isolated tracks into the song and tweaking the mix a good bit.
I'd love feedback on: >possible ways to improve the classical guitar track >orchistration >vocals >overall mix/volume discrepencies
RECCS: Always good, man. I would say you're recent track is nice and smooth, but I think the vocals could be mixed to come out more (I get that critique too though, vocals are hard stuff).

>soundcloud.com/prettyoverpowered/going-to-vegas Very contemporary alternative kind of music. Well done, not really my vibe, but interesting harmonies and chord changes. It's like Queen meets Animal Collective.

>i hate rap so much and quadlzrr is one of my favorite songs on soundcloud. Made my night honestly, thank you

>soundcloud.com/garrison-peters-14030517/tracks Nice grooves yo. Has a bit of 80s vibe but in a contemporary way. Like if XTC was making music today. Some of the vibes a little too contemporary for me, but still very nice. I like the beat.
So I tend to float between rap and electronic genres, and as of late I was hit with a bit of nostalgia. So I sampled Mr. Resetti's theme song from Animal Crossing and turned it into a rap beat. youtu.be/p5COhzk_aAg or soundcloud.com/miii_miii/sets/ssxs-rap-caviar
This is by far one of the more bizarre things I've stumbled across on a Soundcloud thread. If you're going for a rap vibe try adding some sort of groove or drums to it, but besides this you can take the pitched dark vocals to do some cool ASAP Rocky type of shit. >It's weird because i tend to dislike heavy panning in tracks but your sounds are oddly satisfying to just hear in one eat at a time. Got some lovely synths there and I like the overall idea behind the track. Lost has some lovely drums and keyboards playing in the background there. Overall quite a gorgeous song. I like your versatility especially on the song White Noise, that guitar is crazy.
Hello, fellow post-punker. Sounds very classic Joy Division post-punk/synthpop. I am not sure you pulling off singing. It sounds a bit better when you go into your lower voice, but overall I am not convinced. Maybe you mixed it a bit too harsh as well, which is not helping you. Vocals is your weakest point though. You have some good ideas, but not pulling the sound off. Sometimes you are not hitting right notes. I suggest singing lessons, there are lots on youtube (distortion in some cases can hide singing imperfections, but in this case it makes it even worse). Instrumental is pretty strong overall.
This is cool Sick jams.. I like the personality of your voice, but it's a little lacking to my ears. As is mine. Fuckin gnarly
Julian Turner
That was a ride, damn The whole track's got a really nice push-pull to it. Building up to these crazy climaxes then dropping everything besides the backing rhythm. Great stuff
weird stuff. the shitty qotsa is accurate. i don't know how much i dig the vocal take, but the instrumental is sweet. good job! the ending is thumbs up
production is great. pitch the vocals down 2 octaves the entire time and im sold
i dig this. would drive 90 2 this. that snare on the back beat in the end is great. v groovy
also that 6/8 hi hat groove is calling out for that tears for fears thing. accenting on beats 1 3 5 of a 6/8 hat pattern. big money. very good song.
Connor Anderson
Thanks..... I think? Your stuff sounds sweet though. It's kinda like King Gizzard if they went Math Rock.
Kayden Brooks
it's not shitty in the way like shitty cover bands are shitty. it's shitty in the way like this sounds what josh homme would've scribbled out while he was in a coma. like straight shit knock off shitty.
reccing this!! really nice licks. I would love to see this transformed into a full song you've obviously got some skills reccing love this Paul auster feels more like a song fragment than a fully fleshed out idea. would be interested in hearing it expanded upon. this sounds great love the noisier direction you go with this also nice descendents reference
Brayden Robinson
Okay that sounds better lol. I will admit this was "conceptualized" in under an hour and I put it into logic just to remember it. I'm still tinkering at it and trying to make it sound less obvious that I am a big fan of Homme. Feel free to listen to my first EP though, I'm gonna purchase your stuff man :)
Carson Nguyen
AAAANNND nevermind, I looked at the price. Good bait.
William Smith
i don't sell anything you fucking retard

Jordan Hernandez
You must not be Baby Labour then.
Jace Collins
Thanks for the feedback and tip, I agree 100% about my singing and have been looking towards practicing. As of now I've been winging it somewhat. All in good fun.
Connor Smith
>really nice licks. I would love to see this transformed into a full song thank you for being the only person to even click my link.
i listened to your stuff while i was studying, a lot of good stuff.
Jacob Lewis
brand new track posted a couple hours ago featuring the homies RYCE and Late Scott!!
I think yall'll fw this one. It's got an old school vibe + mad flows
Good shit love the arppegio I really like this very atmospheric Dope as fuck, could really step to this Very nice harmonies on here, good chords too
Lucas Evans
I'm really fucking loving that eerie sound. I kinda think the drum track kills the vibe a bit. Honestly think it would sound better on it's own, maybe experiment with some other instrumentation. Sounds like something I'd buy on cassette in a heartbeat.
melodically I enjoy parallel but dark_sea seems like it would work very well as a background to some video, I'm almost imagining your banner art as an animation keep it up my dude
my dark ambient project, has been described as "good dungeons & dragons music" and "entering a dark cave in skyrim" any feedback/criticisms are welcome. thanks guys :)
Hudson Nelson
thanks my man yeah, i think once i have enough money i'll get some animation done for some future projects
Jaxon Mitchell
>soundcloud.com/localdiskc/seventhcircuit Love the rhythms on this, it`s what kept me around the most since I`m not much of a fan of this style of music. but I fucking respect dude, nice!
hmm seems cool enough to me,dig the ae, too. BUT I `m getting a lot of clipping from my headphones and the volume is at 28 haha.
