Is it good?
I think I can watch it on Amazon.

Is this Filthy Frank on the left?

kek

If you have Prime you can. If not, I can give you the link where I watched.

I personally find it scary and maybe you'll understand why while watching. That's why I'm asking, I wanted to know if you guys feel the same.

I have prime, so I'll try it then.
Are Japanese still buttshit crazy after they won the war in the show?

Give me a brief summary of the movie.

>losers btfo'd by jews

Depends on how you define bullshit crazy. If you mean whether for example the kempeitai operates as they did in the Malay islands - yes.

It's an Amazon Prime series called "The Man in the High Castle", based on the novel. It's about the US in an alternative universe, where the axis powers win and it gets split up between Germany and Japan.

desu I'd be pissed watching this as an Italian

Stupid nips kill Americans

Japs are ugly

I just play Wolfenstein.

Does the Japanese Empire play a role in it?

>In alternate Nazi universe, Notorious internet autism is a productive member to society and a high ranking member in the government

Really scramble my brainwave

Isn't it just some mystic bullshit overloaded with esoteric themes and secret service thrill?

Even if Japan and Germany won WW2, they couldn't go and occupy the North America continental.
The maximum result for them was the cease‐fire of Japan vs America and Germany vs America.
Because Japan needed to pay much money and man powers for managing the East Asia and the South East Asia.
Germany also needed that for Europe and Soviet Union.

Japanese were beaten by Nazis using magic ancient Jew technology.

>internet autism is a productive member to society and a high ranking member in the government
>alternate universe
Reminder that Trump became president thanks to alt-right fedoralords.

>厚生労働省
>The building of the ministry of heealth, labour and welfare is located next to a bar.

kek

Not at all. But this really isn't about the series itself or even national socialism. I really just wanted to know how this made Japanese people feel.

>thanks to alt-right fedoralords.
>historical revisionism
No thank you.

>desu I'd be pissed watching this as an Italian
Wait, doesn't Frank appear?
Anyways, the books have the Italians LARPing as Romans, who have dried out the Mediterranean to pretend that they have land.

The one weird one is France not appearing. Apparently Himmler hoped to destroy France, and Balkanize it into Normandy, Wallonia, Burgundy, etc... but had he not had his way, France would have been a pretty big player in post-WWI politics as an early German "ally".

I really liked season 1 but season 2 got really shitty

not even about the alternate universe stuff either, I mean it was a little offputting but I could deal with it.

yeah when I watched it I just pretended the situation with italy was that their dictatorship was sort of softening by itself after the war so hitler had to prop mussolini up himself manually, making italy just a sort of axis puppet in the greater axis german empire

maybe it could be even seen as the mutation of original (italian) fascist doctrine into something totally nazi dominated

season 2 is miles ahead of season 1, what the fuck is wrong with you

it became less morally relativist and more just like any other fucking thing on tv about ww2

We don't give a shit, we defeated and became obiedient mindless slaves that not even dreamt of history of if we won.

My personal opinion is that imperial Japan and Nazis Germany, both not only failed in the mission to liberate world from Anglo Jew alliance, but also we were defeated by other than ourselves.

Hitler chose the wrong path, embraced master race bullshit so are Germans and Japanese who tried to replace AngloJews with themselves. That's all.

You can imagine that here in Germany, the situation isn't much different.

But doesn't this activate your almonds? Doesn't this make you question the narrative you've been fed?

In other words... Sure, prisoners get beaten and the kempeitai shoots dissidents on the streets, but... You could drop your wallet on the street and find it at a police station the next day. You could leave your door unlocked at night. Communism was never invented, no famines from Madrid to Tokyo, etc.

Just two big empires which, according to Hitler, were way too far from each other to collide.

This is what I meant with scary. All my life I've been told that the world is a better place because the allies have won. Now this series is scaring the shit out of me because I do see all the subtile signs about the "terrors" of living in that universe... But I don't care. I'm scared that this thinking is turning me into a worse person. And since only two groups of people can feel this way - German and Japanese people, I'd love to hear from you.

People from Allied nations can wish the Axis had won, too.

But honestly I don't buy the hype, I imagine that a future where Germany and Japan won would probably be just as shitty, perhaps in different ways, but just as shitty.

I just really liked how "american" they made the regime. Like in the first episode the guy was driving down the road and got a flat tire or something, and a random cop came by and helped him with it, they had some friendly small talk, then parted ways. The setting was one of our midwestern empty rural roads, there was some country music playing, it just looked like an archetypal american scene. But surprise, the cop had a fucking swastika on his car and on his arm. Everything else was completely normal. I also like the cop's line "I barely remember what we were fighting for".
I found the scene too imdb.com/videoplayer/vi1216590873

That's a very valid viewpoint. I bet the American soldiers meeting their Russian allies didn't expect the next 40-70 years to go the way they did.

That being sad I don't feel life in this timeline feels unjust. I live a good life compared to my very people in the last hundred odd years.

Well, it was in rural America afterall. The head of the American SS, Obergruppenführer John Smith, also wore his badges American style and in a later episode had a medal from the US Army in his office. Losing the war didn't turn us into Americans so it's only fair that it didn't turn you into Germans in that universe.

>filename
Well, it's a fantasy based on reality. Yurakucho, Shimbashi and Ginza are 80% bars and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is around there.

Holy shit you are one weeb

>walking around ginza makes me a weeb
Shut up you nazi.

when you call me a nazi, I win

fed up with 'Nazi shoah'ed jooz' movies.

Tell me more

Interesting... This question was actually referred to the Japanese seeing the old empire in the way it's depicted in the show, but... You make it about the Nazis. What gives? Is is Germany being appologetic biting us in the ass, making Nazi Germany more of an enemy than the Japanese Empire even in the eyes of your people?

Both the Japanese empire and Nazi Empire deserved a million nukes

Fuck off in all honesty

...

Do you have cool nazi pic?

...

...

Simo Häyhä is best Häyhä

some autistic japs here are mad as hell because they show jap as muh mystic fortune telling weirdos

you should leave the past behind

the majority of Japs even don't even know about that

Honestly speaking, we islanders are all ignorant on continental affairs and, somebody said above, nobody knows this shit. Only expats watch it.
The contents are fully bullshit but I feel 1 thing. Current altright turds in the islands triggered it partially, coz those islanders are beautifully perverse and crooked that their descendants in the United States would fully join this TV project for surest when the tiny islanders chose altright cabinet and rightwing turds went on mainstream, as you have watched socalled Neto-Uyo here.

That's a shame, really. Because in itself the series is anti-fascism and anti-nationalism. Also because I don't see anything bad in having your country represented in a TV production like this.

...

dirty allies go home!

Why did the Nazis have faggot armbands?

my nigga

Yeah... I know what you r thinking but actually you will be let down when you come to live in this loser islands.
I know the reason why the islander TVs are moderate as you said. The answer is quite simple. TV stations are not openly liberated in the island. Their company locations and broadcasting areas are legally restricted and mostly concentrated into Tokyo, where US forces are stationed. This is the only reason why Jap TVs are moderate against the United States.

S1 Resistance
>if we just randomly kill soldiers they retaliate against us and the nazis will attack the japs
S2 Resistance
>lets randomly kill soldiers to prop retaliation, prevent the retaliation to cause even worse retaliatory attacks, to make the population sympathetic to our cause
>lol lets bomb the kempeitai HQ too, really badingles my jingles that chief inspector Kido still keeps our shithole from being nuked by nazis lol

The land of the rising sun and its people will always have a special place in my heart and play a special role in my national identity. It hurts me to see so many of you being so broken about how you view your country. Although I can't say it would've been for the best if we had won, our time as friends and the main powers of east and west shall come again.

Obviously those Americans who are making these stories of poops never think so, and it is the very dominant point of views throughout the current world...

>Somebody suggested I write the translator and ask him specific questions about the book, and he did write back. Now, I thought the Japanese were supposed to be very polite, but I was wrong. First of all, he said, "Your book wasn't any good to start with.'' Secondly, he said, "You've also confused Chinese culture and Japanese culture. The Chinese are inferior people, and the I Ching's Chinese and not Japanese. No Japanese would ever use some Confucian classic. Only foreigners use those." I was quite amazed at how up-front he was in his contempt for the book, but it's still in print in Japan. It's sold very well, and I've made almost thirty-five dollars off of it. Over a ten-year period.

cannot fabricate

>It's sold very well, and I've made almost thirty-five dollars off of it. Over a ten-year period.
hue

This show makes me wonder. If the nazis had prevailed, we would all look back on hitler as a great man. When you think about things like that then you realize what a facade your own knowledge even is. What can you really even be sure of?

I love Ubik more than the Man in the High Castle.

Germany would've kept their mad scientists and possibly have flung some big scary bombs at us. London probably would've been kill too.

what American think out is always delusional and vulgar.

I can never get past the first two chapters of Man in the High Castle. It's just so boring to me

Ahhh I love this series.
> tfw no obergruppenfuhrer to serve
Smith and that jap kempetai officer are the best characters in the entire series.

And then he proceeds to tell that Italian that the snow is actually ashes from the ovens where they burn jews and gays and paraplegics. Kek

wtf are you smoking?
Season 2 was way better than season 1.
Season 1 dragged on while season 2 had a lot more activity, plot advancement, and worldbuilding. Also more Obergruppenfuhrer Smith and Inspector Kido screentime and less of some of the other shitty main characters in the series.

no one cares about US media over here, especially TV shows. Unless it's super famous of course or you are talking about maybe 2% of teens (they are retards just like American teens that suck dick of every popular rapper)

dick wrote it using the i ching to get out of working for his wife

Finfags kicked URSS' arse?

また左翼が日本下げの書き込みしてるのか

that salute is fantastic

I think he's italian in the book but not the show

maybe I'm wrong tho
