He was in all the cool movies. He was basically a walking meme before memes were a thing

It was fantastic, a golden age of testosterone.

When he had his heart surgery was the first time I contemplated death and aging

i watched T2 about 100 times when i was a kid.

>millennials invented memes

Last action hero is kino.

idk I thought Jean Claude was cooler

It was amazing. It was a time when there was always a new Arnie movie to look forward to and the movies always delivered.

I remember seeing Eraser and True Lies in the theater with my whole family and everyone would repeat all of his one-liners on the way home.

same

still my all time favorite

i still sometimes put it up and then just watch pieces of it

>Schwarzenegger
>Stallone

Their movies is what made me able to get laid a few times in my life.

They saved me from eternal betaism

It was always great seeing the new Arnold movie.

One liners that had fantastic delivery and amazing action set pieces.

True Lies remains one of my favorite movies, even before the "Just imagine" meme

Mah niggas!!!

It was pretty good. T2 is a masterpiece even now, seeing it young though when it was newer was just unbelievable. I can't think of anything that compares culturally today to what was around back then. It's like it all went so wrong so fast. There are still decent things today, but the old spirit is gone.

It's almost depressing how there hasn't been another charismatic big action star since his departure.

Some will argue The Rock fits the bill, but he's honestly not even half the man Arnold was. All the roles and films he's been involved in have ranged from mediocre to dreadful. He doesn't seem as invested in picking projects and producing them. When Arnold worked on the movie, he didn't just show up to read lines in his accent. The motherfucker got to work and made sure the movie got made the way he wanted it to be made with the people he wanted to make it with

he was the shit

>Thinking Dawkin's definition of a genetic meme is anything remotely comparable to dank internet images.

Are you literally me?

The only Arnie kino I was able to catch in theater was Batman & Robin and Jingle all the way.
shit

90's kids had it the best, we got all the terminator movies, toonami, adult swim when it was good man i miss when we actually had decent tv

>be 13yo britbong in 1994
>grandparents take me and bro to disneyland, florida
>discover that yanks get movies released before uk has even heard of them
>hotel room comes with a movie menu
>grandparents let us order whatever we want
>never heard of any of these movies:
>naked gun 33 1/3
>the mask
>forrest gump
>beverley hills cop 3
>speed
>north
>the hudsucker proxy
>true lies
>oh shit yes it's an arnie film!
>no contest, we watch true lies
>does not disappoint
>weeks later, be home in uk
>people think i'm some kind of kino sorceror for predicting all the great new releases of 1994
We didn't know how good we had it. Google "films 1994" and look how great cinema was back then. What went wrong? How do we make movies great again?

Arnold literally reflects the state of America at any given time. He was incredible during the 80s, decent during the 90s, and now he's gone full cuck.

fucking last action hero was Arnie's best Kino

1996-2006 was true kino to be a self aware White male

>we will never return to the pre-internet age
>we will never return to the time when only an exclusive group of intelligent elites knew how to access it

>>Thinking Dawkin's definition of a genetic meme is anything remotely comparable to dank internet images.
it literally is the same thing, what are you even babbling about?

Lot of great action movies back then. Now those guys are old and retired. Tom Cruise is the like the only real action star left to me.

> climb out of foggy shower
> start humming Terminator theme instantly

I've never cried over a celebrity death, but I'm probably gonna bawl my fucking eyes out when Arnie dies.

Indeed it is. We used to watch is every week with my friend when we were like 10.

Yeah, people online back in the day sure were geniuses...

>that feeling of utter bliss when there were 2 Arnie movies back to back on a saturday evening
