CANELO, BE BOLD!

cringe comment

Ok so do spoilers not work anymore? This has never happened to me until today

canelo beat ggg delusional idiots

They never worked on Sup Forums
nah they still work for me bud, must be your personal computer playing up
PPV numbers for Canelo - Golovkin out yet?

works for me

135k in north america

No

37-0-1

Tyson's looking more and more like Karl Pilkington

>49-1-2

Andrew Golota is the true goat

Is that why it's a draw? xD

>Canelo cucks can't get over the fact a 35 year old man considering retirement beat him

Thought he was the middle one for a sec

Haha way more than that

...

>Posts the only power punch Golovkin landed all fight to prove a point.

That MMA shit sure is bad ass

I can't imagine all the cock this guy has taken

Sad to see Andre Ward retire from boxing.

The most adaptable fighter I've ever seen active in my life time in a boxing ring. Could beat you any which way, exceptional in-fighter who could turn out-fighter when needed. Model professional, preparation was perfect, superb ability to plan on how to exploit the key weaknesses of another fighter.

Shame he's retired so early, had he not spent 2 years on the shelf dealing with Goosen and had the landscape been different today he could well of had up to 40 fights before calling it quits. Will never get the proper credit or the publicity he probably deserves, although he didn't help himself.

>115-5 Amateur Boxing Record

>32-0 (16 KO's) Perfect Professional Boxing Record
>Unified + Ring Light Heavyweight World Champion
>Unified + Lineal Super Middleweight World Champion
>Super Six World Boxing Classic Champion

>Retired as #1 Pound for Pound in Boxing (Ring Magazine, ESPN, TBRB)

'You may not like it but you must respect it'.

>standing on your tip toes so you don't look like a manlet next to Tyse

Ward is super talented. He's just such an unlikeable guy. Him and Kovalev were really perfect for each other in that regard.

Haye v Bellew 2 will be the fight of the year

d-d-david?

Golovkin Fans:
>WOW, look at Golovkin's chin last fight!

Also Golovkin Fans:
>Canelo didn't land anything noteworthy.

Canelo fans:
>Wow Canelo really showed his skill level by fighting on his back foot and getting walked down and gassed on the ropes the whole night!

>everyone has a full pint of guinness
>tyson glass is empty

hmmm

>walking backward and being on the ropes automatically means you were losing

there was a lot of time when GGG had Canelo on the ropes and wasn't landing anything.

>he doesn't rate Canelo and Golovkin

You mean to tell me two different fighters with two different skillsets and game plans did different things?

GGG outboxed Canelo by landing 50 more jabs when they were off the ropes and they countered each other fairly equally on the ropes with similar power punch stats.
>b-but CompuBox
>at Vegas and with a paid Canelo judge

>I rate boxing fights without meme fighters

>only pub near me that's showing parker v fury wants you to pay £10 just to get in

fuck that, imagine unironically paying a tenner just to get into a pub to watch a £15 PPV

is that The Fury family?

>Carl Froch, Chad Dawson, Artur Abraham, Mikel Kessler

man, I've been trying to get into this boxing shit, there's just way to many champions, divisions, promotions, belts.

how do you fags keep up with all this shit?

>le rigged sport
>118-110

yeah bye

get back here you piece of shit. think youre hard maybe come meet me and I'll show you how to box you little shit

Just stay with it. After awhile you will have boxing autism too.

Just pay for it. Buy some beers and watch in the comfort of your own place.

it's fun watching with some of the lads though instead of in your basement

>Golovkin gets mauled and barely lands a punch
>'Uhh, actually, Golovkin CLEARLY won the fight because he was walking forward and Canelo was backing up!"

Just look at the fighters you care about and eventually you'll learn about the rest as you pay attention to the sport.

Just like how Jeff Horn beat Pacman?
Fuck off Aussy, you shits don't know boxing.

I hope he continues to commentate. He's my favorite commentator.

Literally takes years.

This is the reason why boxing fans scream 'casuals' over and over, boxing needs you to have a library of fighters, promoters, history, organisations, networks etc., without it it's clear as day if you don't know what you're talking about, and that's without the actual understanding of how to box.

Find guys you like and follow/relive their careers. What are some traits you like in fighters?

thanks lads

I like fighters who duck weave and counter, like prime anderson silva

Really not that hard. 4 belts.
Rankings:
fightnews.com/rankings-2

All significant fights in the schedule in the OP

Autism and passion. Everyone starts a casual, so just watch fights, past and present. You'll get it after a while

Lomachenko isn't going to be able to handle El Chacal.

>I like fighters who duck weave and counter, like prime anderson silva
Never seen Anderson Silva fight but:

>Juan Manuel Marquez
>Pernell Whitaker
>Canelo Alvarez
>James Toney

James Toney might be the best as you probably know him from MMA, plus he's hilarious as hell.

Joshua is rapping on Sky 1 right now

Real talk /box/

Your sport is dying. Let /heem/ use your threads for mma discussion when the scat spammer gets reved up. We've earned that privileged.

>MMA will NEVER clear a million on PPV ever again

are all the belts of equal significance and standing? ex, is wbo more prestigious than the others or are they all equal?

kek

thanks brother, I'll check them out

What a ""sport""
Fuck off and die faggot.

>the only power punch

Canelo cucks can't be this deluded right?

...

never gave a shit about him because he has no personality

We already banished you faggots to /asp/.
Stay there.

>ex, is wbo more prestigious than the others or are they all equal?

The WBO is the most recently created and the most crooked. It's very biased towards certain promoters

>What is GSP vs Bisping
>What is Conor vs Anyone
>What is Overeem vs Joshua (in the octagon)

You can stop posting any time spic. 95% of people who saw that fight had golovkin winning or at the least a draw. Literally no one thinks Canelo won that fight

4 equal world titles. Each sanctioning body behind the belt recognises the other 3. If you have 2 belts you are a unified champion, if you have all 4 you a undisputed champion. There are other belts like the IBO but they don't count because they're not recognised.

>"""""counter""""" puncher gets outlanded in jabs
>"""""counter""""" puncher matched in power punches
>"""""counter""""" puncher allowing GGG to have the punch count he had
>somehow won despite having a swelling eye and face
>came in visibly heavier and still took more damage
>GGG mauled when Canelo fought in bursts that werent effective enough to win and was pressured to ropes to try to recuperate
My sides. Canelo fans, everyone.

I've heard of Joshua

haha wtf

WBC is slightly more prestigious than the others but all are on equal footing

>Who the hell is GSP or Bisping?
>Conor has already been exposed
>Who the hell is Overeem?

And this Joshua guy you're talking about better not be Anthony Joshua because your poorfag sport cant afford to bring him over.
We, however, can take any one of your little "stars" and use them for our amusement.

>gsp vs bisping

MIGHT clear a million

>McGregor vs anybody

Nate diaz rematch will clear a million. Anything else is questionable

>overeem vs Joshua

Lol

GSP vs Bisping won't clear a million. GSP is old news and everybody knows it will be a terrible decision. If Jones can't do it then it will fall short at the 800k mark. Joshua isn't going to UFC because they can't pay enough and Conor will require changing the entire business model for him to come back.

...

>GSP
>one million
he couldn't do it with diaz, he won't do it with duckula

That's the interim WBA title which is recognised

>I care about the opinions of casuals.

>I only use Compubox to score fights!

Golovkin fans everyone!

>this is the best striker MMA has to offer
He's gonna need that $35M so he can train at a proper gym with a proper trainer

GSP used to get 700-900k easily when he defended a belt, Going for the MW belt will easily get a million

All of Connor's main events broke 1 million.

I was going to respond to your last counter point, but you turned into a cunt real quick. Overeem would tko Joshua with leg kicks in the first round. Boxers don't know how to fight, they know how to box. And that's that.

>c-Canelo landed more power punches!!
>GGG landed more overall and looked better in the ring
>STOP FUCKING USING COMPUBOX

Canelo cucks everyone

You can tell that Sr has a Patrick Bateman style routine each morning.

right lads

makes sense, the most aesthetic is the most prestigious

w-weeb OUT

>Reddit formatting
I think we know where these MMAnlets come from now.

That was before McGregor got exposed against mayweather. If he loses again to diaz, especially by tapping, his draw is over

Literally every MMA fighter ever is a bum

>Golovkin gets parried everytime he throws a punch
>'B-b-but Golovkin clearly won, he threw more punches!'

Andre Ward moved on?

not him but taking L's in mma doesnt kill a draw right away, the only guy who never really lost was jones. I bet you if ronda came back she'd do +750k

>gets parried every time he throws a punch

Look at Canelo parrying with his face xD

He'll be back, he just needed to duck Beterbiev like Floyd ducked Margarito in '07

>GSP used to get 700-900k easily when he defended a belt, Going for the MW belt will easily get a million
900k isn't a million. Also, the only time he cracked 1M, he wasn't even the main event, Lesnar was.

Conor is fun to watch but would have done Mayweather numbers had he gone into boxing early in his life. Instead he's Dana's property on a WWE-style promotion

>if Ronda came back

Lol the bitch is over. Also says something about the state of MMA if they do bring her back

>p-please watch our shit

AJ just blacked Emma Bunton on Sky 1

boxing has btfo mma pretty hard this year, if the gsp card bombs ufc is gonna be in trouble with that debt

>These losers who can't help but bite the bait all the time arguing against a blatant troll

Morons.

Noice

I see this Mike Perry guy getting a lot of hype lately. If he becomes a draw in the UFC then at least we won't have to bother with the whole crossover stuff since he's already been KTFO by a domestic level boxer
