I love bohren, but they're darkjazz, not quite the sound i'm imaging...

I'm thinking more like an ambient delta blues kinda thing, droney slide guitars and that kinda thing

Bardo Pond

>Free Folk
Kind of what Avarus, Kemialliset Ystavat and the like were all about. Also The Shadow Ring
>they're darkjazz
Since that's a madeup term that doesn't even apply to them (they use the tern doom-laden jazz), that's a pretty whack argument. Their first two albums, which sound nothing like the stuff they're famous for, can very much be described as "ambient jazz" (noting that they're not, have never been and will likely never be actual jazz, of course)
>Jazzy Blackgaze
I.O.U "gaze"

this is not quite what you're looking for but "earth - hex: or printing in the infernal method" might scratch that itch

>can very much be described as "ambient jazz"
"ambient blues"; sorry
Then again some of the more chill psych rock, like very specific Pink Floyd tracks could be described as ambient blues

>droney slide guitars
Care for some Countrygaze?

Might have been less retarded to suggest the Durutti Column or something. At MOST they're a dream rock band that happens to be instrumental and doesn't just twang their chords.

>Haunted Music That Literally Kills You When You Listen To It
I know this is a joke but Gloomy Sunday is sorta like this

It's really not

Except that's a bullshit urban myth exaggerated by the internet, so it's really not.

Way to quote the wrong post. I think you're the one in a hypnagogic funk.
