i feel a little cheated because Trey gave interviews describing how the band stupidly eschewed digital recording on this and it means there are parts of songs that are the result of daisy-chaining up like a half dozen 8-track recorders just to get everything layered correctly, but one track would be nothing but the camera sound effects in None Of Them Knew or ridiculous shit like that. he said he kept all these notes on the writing/recording process and would some day go online and put it out there like a peek behind the scenes, and it's never really happened.
