Who here agrees that best case scenario is for the NASL to win their lawsuit forcing USSF to allow other first divisions and lowering standards so it no longer benefits MLS and then having the NASL die so US soccer never has to deal with their cancer ever again.
It's the best of both worlds. No more MLS monopoly with the possibility of a new 1st division league forming that has pro/rel and the NASL finally dying so US soccer no longer has to deal with their cancerous mentality that has been hurting the sport for years.

Maybe, who knows. I could see possible expansion groups for MLS hesitate to invest when they could join another D1 for much cheaper. Maybe after MLS gets filled up it'd be better. At the same time another league with pro/rel would make it possible for far more teams to join in which could arguably expand the rate of growth in the country. This is of course assuming its managed by someone competent, the last thing the sport needs is another NASL. I do have hope for NISA and USL or maybe a new entity altogether. Both sides are filled with what ifs but I think it'd be better to try then keep the status quo where MLS holds all the power with only a limited number of positions open.
