Yes
It's missing a little something though: youtube.com
It was pretty dope. Is there gonna be another?
I do remember having a lot of fun watching it. It felt pretty faithful to the comic too if I recall.
That being said the chosen style of animation left something to be desired. Especially Tintin himself looks particularly deformed.
Yeah there's a second one confirmed by Jackson himself (imdb.com
It's been in production-hell for a while though so it's hard to say what'll come out of it.
>it's an aryan Tintin with blond hair and blue eyes has to take down the jewish villain episode
I thought the animation was quite an achievement, it's all round very good looking unlike previous mocap CG films that look weird as fuck.
The character designs hit a pretty good mark between realistic and caricatured/faithful to the comics.
>had a ton of cool action scenes
>managed to maintain the feel of a thriller for kids with a good chunk of mystery
>visually managed to stay close to the original series
I agree with pretty great famalam.
heh, it doesn't even scrape the surface of kino, you normies with your embryonic tastes
I was an avid Tintin reader back in the day, walked into this movie with serious doubts and was blown away by how faithful it was to the stories and characters.
One of the best comic book adaptations IMO. Fantastic.
Damn this music makes me nostalgic as fuck.
>comic book adaptations
Does that technically make it capekino?
The purest.
Cape = superhero
Is tintin a superhero? If not then this is not cape.
Tintin's not a superhero and not all comics are about superheroes so with all that in mind can you come to a logical conclusion, or just keep spouting buzzwords
>Tintin was canonically 5'3''
There's hope for all of us, gents.
>blown away by how faithful it was to stories and characters
>faithful to story
>faithful
>Sakharine, the red-herring bad guy, is the true bad guy in the film, and related to Rackham
>they mix Golden Claws Crabs with Unicorn Secret
>Tintin riding motorbinkes in Morroco
>Omar Ben Salad has one of Licorns
>Who are the Bird Brothers!?
>Same ending as the Treasure of Rackham, but Tintin and Haddock still go try to find the treasure into the sea like autistic fucks in a disgusting cliffhanger
>faithful
Try harder with bait, senpai
Was Tintin canonically gay?
waaahh it's not identical waaaaahhh
>tiny french journalist that can fly planes and use any kind of machine gun busts drug/slave/trades, meets aliens, saves kingdoms, tricks incans, flies planes and goes to the fucking moon before teatime
this fucking guy
Assexual! There is no mention of sexual innuendo in any adventure about any character.
tl.dr There are no genitals on Tintin characters, which makes the comic awesome
>awful shit get endless sequels
>great movie that made 3x it's budget
>hasn't gotten a sequel in over 5 years
>would take at least a couple of years to make
SAD
Again, SAKHARINE WAS THE VILLAIN
In the comic he is the red-herring nigga that we think it's gonna be the bad guy (and Tintin actually thinks that he is the bad guy for too much time), but it ends up being neutral about everything
That was the main problem
Did Spielberg even finish the comic!?
>There is no mention of sexual innuendo in any adventure about any character.
Oh please, Castafiore wanted that Haddock Haddick superbad
She just found it funny that those fool journalists thought they were having an affair
>trips confirm
I think we both know.
What does keynote mean?
>That chase scene through the village
Yes it was and it's sad we don't have a sequel yet.
