Ehh you sneaky fucking prawns

What is the best sci-fi movie for the past 10 years?

*grabs popcorn*

unironically one of the best movies period in the last 10 years

Why is Blomkamo so redpilled?

hey DICKUS!

yeah district 9. maybe sunshine.

District 9 would have been shit with a different main actor

Prove me wrong

I can't,Sharlto is unironically my favorite actor

Why do people hate this film?

It's unironically one of my favorite films

...

It was alright

It looked better than it deserved to, given the forgettable story.

they do? Saw it in theaters and thought it was the best scifi movie in over a decade

Nice visuals
Nice ost
Shit story

District 9 and Tron Legacy are they only ones that i can think of of the bat. Tron beats District personally but

>"Wait a minute Patrick, I'm the maniac!"

District 9 was the shiiiiet.

One of the, of not the best, movie in the last 10 years.

Great aesthetic, another instance of Sharlto Copley stealing the show, I want to see more of him as an antagonist

I liked Ex Machina a lot

He looks about like Steve carrel

Fuck it was so good

I wish the directors other films were anywhere near as good

You're thinking of Elysium

good movie tho

Yeah everything he has made after d9 is meh imo

I know that a lot of people disagree, but I feel like Elysium is not only one of the best sci-fi movies of the past decade but it is also criminally underrated.

Guys, the bad guy is a feminist liberal french canadian.

It's great until you meet Freeman. Fuck that guy.

>until you meet Freeman.

You dumbass, Freeman is just playing the Hermes role. Like Yoda, Morpheus, Merlin.

Oblivion is fucking gnostic and red-pilled as FUCKKKKK.

Edge of tomorrow was a thousand times better
I'm looking these movies of Tom finally

It's epic lot hard to make kino now a days, it's like you have to really hit a sweet spot between budget and studio woes, and if you weren't prepared to make this movie your whole life it's most likely not going to have enough fuel to burn through out the editing because you were short sighted or just didint record enough backup scenes. It's really awesome when new effects can help something like d9 take off the ground while essentially still cutting corners when compared to similar movies of the past. Or how the least budgets Bond of the past decade is actually the best one given it's simple aim and really just running with a few concepts it got rounded enough to be a ball of a time. Colorful symbology across is have to nominate Children of Men as I just personally love pushing the edge ever slightly of what is expected a direction some film is tracing but actually casting a bold stride into how we think of cinematography. The last act with the hospital is odd and surreal is what they might want you to think of it, but the small journey there does a better build up of anguish then any historical non/fiction or indie bindy title ever.
