Good evening my best friends, I love you so much and this is a very important message, I have uploaded 11 hours of music and this is such a great feeling to be here... Let's do this together and get it, I promise you you will be deeply satisfied... Thank you very much and I wish you the best things in the world, you will be married soon and I promise it will be the best day ever... See you...
Okay, so now to your post... Why should I go through all those links here posted, what is the supposed benefit from it... The only thing I want are views and nobody ever responded to my reviews either and was keen on discussing it, so what's the point... Commenting for the sole purpose of getting attention and pretending being interested just because the thread says so is not a good thing... If you have to say something about my music go on but I won't comment on your tracks because it's a waste of time... Also I prefer to listen to my playlist either... have a nice day...
The whole point of thread is to support each other and critique each others work. While most just spam their soundcloud page over and over you do occasionally get some really good feedback from an user. Most tripfags and that tic tac guy give really in depth opinions when they are about.
really solid stuff, chill anime to study to beats with a vaporwave tinge. Quicksand and sun is falling were my favourites of the four songs. epitome of comfy. can't really think of any critique except i'd love hear what you come up with some experimental that pushes the boat out as your talent at making a solid composition would make for some really interesting stuff
Recc'd swerving before. Amnesia had a great rainy vibe, although i feel like it could have used something extra as while comfy and chill it felt a little basic compared to swerving. Good shit though.
recc'd from before. Everyone go check out "yuka peno" and "my place". can't wait to hear your new song.
loved the vocals, not what i was expecting going in. early Enter Shikari/ taking back sunday vibes. "ACAB" and "Habits" and both really nice as well. Definitely think you've got it going on. Maybe the levels on the vocals can be a little cleaner and controlled and some points they are overwhelming and other times too quiet.
"Why do you keep askin" and "Be Ready" were stand outs to me, haven't listened to all your stuff yet though. How much of it is plunderphonics? Heavy DJ Shadow and Avalanches vibes. Could see your shit being played at a skate park, sure shop and pre show before a hip hop concert. Like it so far, would love to collab and spit over some of your beats.
you've got a boat load of listens so you're doing something right. Definitely great study/ blunt music. I actually enjoyed "Among Tomorrow" the most among the stuff I listened to. The experimenting you did was interesting and I think you can apply your solid technique to more crazy shit .
Best album art i've ever seen. Gorgeous trumpet and i think the right amount of "oooh aahhs". What's it sampled from? everything sounds super clean. Does feel a little repetitive towards the end, because the ooh ahhs keep grabbing my attention and stops me from zoning out like a lot of chill beats, feel this could use some singing or soft bars over the top of it.
Nice vocals, voice does slip up in a few places due to lack of strength, but feel it does hold it's own and carry the track competently. Joji vibes from the track itself. I preferred your boom bap voice on "Bad while it lasted" Some of the bars about heartbreak might across as a little cringe to anyone over the age of 30 but you carry them well and with sincerity.
recc'd from before. keep it up brother! Check out this man's shit really good atmospheric stuff.
agree with what abe trashbag wrote about it not feeling like a trap song. Loved it though, the time signature is so weird. highly original and whilst i don't think the mario samples were utilised that well they added to the bizarre feeling the song gave me. Slow down at the end was a good touch aswell. nice work
Im on this level boi. although i felt like your tracks were quite hit or miss, there's some fantastic ideas here and your stuff got my imagination flowing. Would love to rap over some of your stuff if i had better flow.
>first half is spacey indie rock >second half is ambient instrumentals
I try and do different stuff for each album, so if you don't like this one, try out another!
reccs: How're you all doing? Anyone working on a new release or anything they're excited about, or trying something new? Lets get some musician conversation going here.
I really dig this. Saved it because it'll make great study music for me, but the mixing of styles is almost seamless and I enjoy the build of it all.
>soundcloud.com/bigturmoil/spring this is nice, but I would recommend turning the noise down a bit and adding some lo-fi bass. Other than that, very chill.
>soundcloud.com/btmkr3000 this here has some really great production. very clear and off beat in a good way. great chopping too.
fun-with-teeth.bandcamp.com/album/i-need-a-drink >pretty eclectic I think? >whitehouse club bangers, comfy jams, charles ives inspired stuff, industrial hip hop insturmentals, a few track inspired by SNES video games OSTs, sound experiments, >tldr: usually either very visceral or very comfy Im sorry about your cat user :( Good track though, I think hazel would appreciate it As far as feedback I don't see anything really wrong with it. Its got a distinctive and powerful vibe. keep it up! this is COMFY stuff man, do you ever put any of it on youtube? i like how you kind of establish the mood in the first song with that guitar and then the second half more guitar and the vox comes in. I don't have much to say as far as feedback I'm afraid, although its a bit short but thats prob not very helpful. keep up the good tunes, I bookmarked it to check out more later It sounds like this is more of a meme but I still think its kind of cool. Its obviously pretty lacking in melody but that gives it a surreal vibe. Also nice k-on meme I've been watching that recently and its pretty comfy animu Even though this isnt really my type of music I still respect it a lot and I think it sounds really cool. Two bits of feedback I have would be is you could maybe diversify the instrumental a bit because most of the dynamics are pretty subtle. the other bit of feedback I have is the vocals are in this weird are between regular vox and manic vox, so I think you could either tone it down or tone it UP if you want a more specific aesthetic. maybe that makes no sense though, so sorry if my advice is shit. keep it up vro I think I gave feedback a few threads ago so I'm afraid I'm not sure what else to say. I still am impressed with this, sounds really professionally made and the songwriting is great!
Jason Richardson
sadtuna here edison is just as comfy as that one^ and there are some others hidden in there that are comfy too. drnk tlk is also pretty comfy.
cont. (also nice dubs, me) this is awesome man, I'm definitely gonna listen to more later. It really fits that guy-in-the-basement-fucking-around-for-fun aesthetic if ya know what I mean. I like the way you balance sound experimentation with melodies. Havent listened to the whole thing yet but I "spt checked it" and listened to a few minutes here and there and its a nice listen. not sure what feedback to give im afraid, but good jams! this is not really my thing so its hard to give feedback, but it seems like you know what youre doing as far as this genre. the instrumentals are well done and its produced well so you're on the right track nice quads AND nice jam this is another one of those things where I'm not sure what advice to give because you seem like you not what youre doing a lot better than me. It feels like a genuine project rather than an amateur bandcamp project (not that thats a bad thing, but you get what I mean). I havent listened to the whole thing but I listened to a few tracks and the tracklist order is great too, the first track makes for a great opener. maybe this will make me a sound like a faggot but I played hotline miami 1 and 2 a few months ago and your track made me nostalgic for that game lol but its also pretty good in its own right. personally I feel like the opening filter and fade out are a bit of a lazy way to start and end the track but thats really the only feedback I can think of. I thought it sounded great and the tom drums did a good job of diversifying it, if that makes sense this is good stuff man, kind of gave me a yung gravy vibe. one critique i have though is the percussion is super loud in a kind of abrasive way because the treble based high hats and shiet, and the instrumentals are pretty quiet, so you could work on mixing it a little better, but its not bad, I love that chorusy guitar
Isaac Carter
