When it got cancelled
was it? doesn't it just ended, and SGA took its place?
When MacGyver left
this is the real answer, even when he was half-assing it/phoning it in it was worked into his schtick as a tired team leader.
When they killed off uber-threat Anubis with magic tadpoles and then replaced him with Baal.
never. I liked the Ori.
Screw you guys, it never went wrong, SGU was the shitfest.
I loved the Ori and the Farscape injection
Only the finale was shit. Movies made up for it.
Though I really hated the threads episode where they go back in time in a puddlejumper. They make no sense, and they kinda ruined the story.
What did you guys think of SGA?
Atlantis?
I watched the first episode and can't make myself go back to it
It's great.
>mfw i'll never be stuck on a glacier with McUseless
Weak copy but still enjoyable.
I liked it a lot actually.
Cast was pretty fun. The Amazon power woman with a stick trope was stale as soon as it appeared but it somehow worked out.
10 seasons with 24 episodes each. It was a full success.
Pussy. It's great, especially first 3 seasons.
but I wanted more
It's also stalled my finishing SG1 because I watch shows in release order so I have to alternate the episodes and Atlantis just did nothing for me.
A much-needed refresh, though I never got to finishing it.
SG-1 was good for 5-7 seasons, then it went too stale for my taste.
SG-1 was the best Stargate, no doubt about it. Atlantis is pretty okay. Watchable.

Best series coming through
i sure hope this is canon
It was cancelled, or more precisely, not renewed, because of declining ratings.
First season of Atlantis is probably the best Stargate season. As a whole, the first five seasons of SG-1 are the best. The rest of SG-1 and Atlantis is watchable.

pleb.
It didn't
Well okay, the Ori arc wasn't that great but it remained better than most other stuff right to the end
