Idk to be honest, my dad watches so many french films a day he's never had a favorite movie. He hates capeshit and hated every Nolan movie that my brother and I showed him back when Nolan was good.
The one movie I remember him gushing about is Joyeux Noel back when it was out. I'm actually grateful to him for introducing me to good films instead of the typical entry level stuff film students usually gush about.
