Is there a realistic way they do NOT win the championship this year?

Is there a realistic way they do NOT win the championship this year?

Carmelo carmeloing too hard

2 more capable players.

Who can stop the Thunder? Seriously?

Westbrook, as always.

Carmelo.

Also Golden State Warriors. Honestly, the Carmelo trade did nothing to really help the Thunder's shot at the finals at this point. However it does make it easier for OKC to keep Westbrook and Paul George.

So I'm sure Lakers fans are pissed. That's one thing OKC has going for them.

>Carmelo Anthony
>playoff success
>success in big games against real opponents
>even good anymore at all

K

Westbrook >>>>> Curry
George >>>>> Klay
Anthony < KD
Patterson < Draymond
Adams >>>>>> Zaza

Yeah Warriors really are a big threat

I cannot believe I am witnessing such delusion.
Westrbook>Curry (unless you actually value running plays and ball movement)
Then it becomes:
Curry>Westbrook
Klay> George all day
KD>>>>>Anthony
Draymond>>>Patterson
Zaza>>>>>>OKC Bench

How is Curry better than Westbrook?

>KD
>playing vs his old team
>clutch

AHAHAH Westbrook is going to rape the fuck out of him

>passing/playmaking
>movement and threat without the ball
>3's
>established finals champion
>continued ball movement
>team chemistry
Westbrook may be a better player and a better athlete, but his inability to buy into a system and work within the confines of a team really takes away from what he actually brings to the table.

The problem is you have to look at the team as a complete package. You have OKC, and then you have Westbrook. They're two separate packages. Whereas all of Golden State is an entire package in one. One on one, I'll take Westbrook. But if I was going to take one of them to build a team around and place them into a full system I'm picking Curry because he'll beat out Westbrook every time.

I'm a Clevelander and a Cavs fan and I can't believe I'm defending Curry. I hate the Warriors, but it's true. I don't give them credit for Durant, I think they'd win without him too. They've got team chemistry and a system that every other team would kill to have. I'm taking Curry over Westbrook.

That could change when Westbrook proves he can win a championship.

>established finals champion
>no finals MVP

K. Without the finals MVP, he might as well not have played at all

>3's
The only one that really fits. I also see nothing on that list about defense. I think you're just a GSW fan.

Let me know when Westbrook gets to hoist a Larry O'Brien trophy

Cool. Give Westbrook the Warriors team and watch him 5 peat. Certainly wouldn't have blown a 3-1 lead in the finals

So what does that have to do with Curry being a better 1 on 1 player than Westbrook? In the playoffs, team basketball doesn't win shit. It's all about the 1 on 1 matches.

You don't actually believe that, do you?

Curry>>>Westbrook(and I think somewhat better of Westbrook than most on here)
Thompson~=George
Durant>>>>>>>>>>Anthony
Green>>>>>>Patterson
Pachulia>>>>>>>whOKC bench

Still not even close sunshine

>t. guy from 1996

Well, there was a reason why OKC went up 3-1 on the Warriors in 2016, no?
