The chords are magenta and taste like watermelon

aquamarine and apricots

people say kevin knew basically no theory, did he just use his ear to find that sus chords are the shoegaze go-to?

letting go of 2 strings on a bar chord can transform an F into an Fmaj7(#11). He was probably just adventurous with his instrument and had a good ear

what song is this? Can't figure it out. The chords are beautiul though (and simple)

D - Dadd9 - D - F#m - G - A

Title track

It really is, but it kinda bummed me out when I started studying music and realized how simple Jeff's compositions were after idolizing him so long.

Is there any other rock/jangly pop band that even comes close to The Smiths? Marr's speed, complexity and skill is insane.
