Very cool taste OP, Lost Wisdom is beautiful and very underappreciated. I care for you :)

...

solid as fuck
underrated BoC
eclectic. me likey.

...

never thought i'd see kanye and xasthur on the same chart haha. have you heard scott's bluegrass/folk stuff? you might like it given that you're into grouper and mount eerie youtube.com/watch?v=FVtq7VHRbF0

Yo, nice pepe. Xasthurs acoustic stuff is really good sometimes, while the lyrics are almost always awful. Though I guess the lyrics even for Xasthurs black metal stuff are super edgy as well, but I just don't understand what he's saying. Good rec though, if you like his acoustic stuff, check out this Trancelike Void album. They're also a black metal band that went acoustic.

Nice

pleb coming through

...

Dismantle my naive and superficial taste in music my friends.

I don't know a single one of those albums except Oingo Boingo, but that gives me faith in your taste. I want to check out those other albums now.
Hello Sup Forumstant man

...

marquee moon is close for me
i like your taste and the aesthetic of the chart

would marry/10

...

my niggas

+blonde, sweet trip, fishymanz, Neu + Women
Public Strain almost made my top ten.
Good taste in punk, that's my favourite Black Flag album.
Why Good Time over Oneohtrix's other projects? Great soundtrack, though.
+Ween, Bjork, Zappa, OPN, Yes + HANL.
Mausy boyyyy. I like the emo in this chart, but I cannot get into Promise Ring at all. Check out William Bonney, if you haven't already.
+SDRL, American Football, Maus, Godspeed, Om
That Songs: Ohia album fucks me up.

Holy fuck with all the indie trash ITT.

your trip says it all

nice bait

filtered

Nice samefaggotry.

Sup Forumstant memes aside, its pretty solid
nice stuff, check out the books - the lemon of pink
james, why do you browse mu so much? i see you literally in every single thread
its nice that you are not affraid to show that you like A7x, but nightmare is better tho
you're probably 50 years old, but you have nice taste
exmilitary is NOT the best death grips album
why Syro?

just pick the 10 least gay albums from my list, i cant pick a top 10 :/

also hit me up with those recs

old list that i've changed my mind on but too lazy to make a new one

It's my day off. Don't judge me.

name of albums? I like bottom right two to the right corner

Syro grew on me at an alarming rate and, to my surprise, it was my most listened to Aphex Twin project. I used to think SAW or ICBYD was his best, but this overtook it for its sheer consistency. Why Lemon of Pink over Thought For Food? I didn't like that Panda Bear album, either. Thoughts on the new Kero Kero?

Pat Metheny - Bright Size Life
SALEM - King Night
Ralph Towner - Solstice
UNKLE - War Stories
John Fahey - The Yellow Princess
Prurient - Frozen Niagara Falls
Secede - Tryshasla
Fog Lake - There's a Spirit There's a Soul / Stay Lost
Bowery Electric - Beat
Bloc Party - Silent Alarm

yea thats understanable, guess i'll have to give it another listen.

Lemon of pink is just slightly better imo, mainly because it has tokyo and take time on it. and the title track is also amazing.

I hated the panda bear album at first, but it grew on me after a few months

the T(h)ot ep is pretty mediocre imo, only acting is great, the one true path is decent, but cinema and you know how it is, is pretty bad.
I respect them for trying something new tho

i mean, what would someone like me know about music
+NEU!, still makes me think that Krautrock is worth exploring even more because there's so many different ideas explored through their nervous sound. At times: it's exceptionally more experimental and I couldn't truly categorize as rock music. You might like U Sco - Tuskflower. Dunno.
+Syro, probably my favourite Aphex Twin project also
It's ideal that you can still enjoy popular music, and stuff that moves fast with a fun energy about it. I think my tastes have changed for the worse by not appreciating that anymore.
The 2002 pproduction of Persepolis by Xennakis is better imo
I like the fact that there is a reception for mum and fishmans
Very odd collection of moods. Can might be intensely cerebral but it's never as depressing or scary as Coil/ Current 93 can become. So it's nice you can appreciate their creativity despite it being remotely unpleasant. Probably one of the bands I'd have on this list if I didn't like electroacoustic and some neoclassical/ambient music marginally better.
I need to listen to this. Been meaning to check out Grouper for some time now. I'm sure it's great, quite comfy by the looks of Gas + the other material I've checked out.
+ Wu-Tang Clan. Very entertaining rappers and even though I think the jazz rap of Tribe Called Quest is overall more sound I can appreciate why you chose this.

I'd like country music recommendations if you have any

youtube.com/watch?v=HOI-kUiG1p0
youtube.com/watch?v=K9u9lVtoWaA
youtube.com/watch?v=8rg1vLDw87U

check out Townes van zandt if you havent already

Robbie Basho

Well there's my daily listening sorted. Thank you
I've listened to his seminal work. I think it'll be worth re-listening to that, before accessing the rest of the catalog. thanks for the recommendation

>The 2002 pproduction of Persepolis by Xennakis is better imo
Nah, I disagree. The remixes, though they may be novel and quaint, don't come close to touching the original.
>I'd like country music recommendations
The Dillards - Wheatstraw Suite
DeZurik Sisters - Checkerboard Time Radio Show Recordings
Dolly Parton - Jolene
Hank Williams - 40 Greatest Hits
Lonnie Donegan - The King of Skiffle
Ernest Tubb - The Definitive Collection

bump

good taste, interested on the title/genre of that purple album.
thats a lot of Weezer
cool chart the DSOTM in the midst of some obscure shit makes me think you are down to eart INB4 projecting. Was that corbin album really that good tho?
Fuck i still have to listen to BTBAM- Colors

RPM is the best RA album. Not a huge fan of that MO album tho Mean everything to nothing was always my favorite

With Teeth over PHM and Downward Spiral?
Overall nice 10 minus the sublime

Fuck ya Silent Alarm is the shit
I need to listen to the other 9 off the basis of that alone

I just don't listen to that much stuff. Trust me I'm not a normie.

...

>Unironically 4 Drake, 3 Kanye and 3 K-pop albums are his 10 favorite albums

glad to see some love for iglooghost on here. nice chart

I have. It's okay, but it still hasn't clicked with me the way it has with so many people. I guess I will give it a chance, I know it's a grower.

p basic Sup Forumscore taste, digs old Western flicks, watches sports
Drake fag, unabashed, shameless, well respected among his friends
